I fail to see how this is a bad thing? National borders are a good thing, it's only logical to only let people in if they go through a vetting system.
Alarming to say the least. I'm grateful I don't live there.

My favorite Vai album is Sex & Religion. The combo of his fantastic guitar work and Devin's flawless vocals is just too good.
I use light mode on some LCDs but on an OLED screen, it's absolutely blinding! I like OLED/pure black dark modes. Better for the life of your screen anyways.
It looks like there is but it's extremely barebones and basically doesn't look any more visually appealing than doing it via a CLI haha
I'm not really able to afford to lose anything right now.
#Theology thoughts:
I'm not post-mil but they have fair points about pre-mil defeatism.
I choose to live post-mil while hoping in pre-mil, concepts like the rapture.
That middle ground keeps you productive in Christ without feeling hopeless or ignorant of present evil.
Indeed, I should have been more specific. I'm referring to how Endeavour focuses more on CLI for things like installing and updating software.

Still my favorite anime film (though I admit that A Silent Voice and Makoto Shinkai's films come VERY close for me).
It's funny, when I first started experimenting with Linux, I saw distros like #EndeavourOS and thought, "There's no way I could ever use that. I need full GUI functionality, I don't want to use the terminal more than necessary."
Fast-forwarding to now and I'm genuinely considering flashing it to a laptop and using it on the side. Could I ever see myself using it as my daily driver distro? Definitely not. I do still prefer a GUI overall, it's just a lot quicker and easier to use.
However, as I've studied for my A+, I've grown more and more comfortable with CLIs to the point where I actually get a bit hyped up to use one when I need to run specific commands.

The main thing I'm trying to say here is this: you guys all believe in Bitcoin with a do-or-die sentiment. That's awesome! I wish I could be at that point. However, for those of us who think it could be good but want to take things slower, these obstacles are 10x higher. That's the point I'm making. It's not as simple and perfect as some people claim it is.
Sure, I could just say "screw it" and dive in head first but at this point in my life, I've got a lot riding on my career change, building financial stability and so forth. I can't afford big risks to my finances OR my time, so that makes it exceptionally difficult for me since I have to find complicated solutions in this situation.
This is one I've been meaning to look into but haven't. Thanks for the reminder!
Quad9 is great! Been using them for a couple years now and the only thing that'd make them better is an ad blocking version.
Just tested something. I added some blocked words of my own and I'm able to remove those without any problems. I just can't seem to remove the ones that were auto added.
Hopefully I will, because I don't *want* to give up but it's difficult not to with all of those obstacles hah
I live in the US but again, not really too worried about the government, I just don't trust exchanges. If there's a data breach and someone tries to steal my identity, that seizes time and money I really can't afford to risk at this time in my life.
Maybe things will be different by the time I can afford that kind of risk, no idea.
I appreciate this. I'll be giving Bisq another look, just won't get my hopes up considering how every other attempt I've made has failed haha. If this last ditch attempt doesn't work, I'm just going to give up. Not worth my stress trying to figure it all out, honestly. Can't have a parallel economy if it's a nightmare to try to access.
But yeah, I'll try Bisq again and see if it works out.
I do if I keep my info safe or, at the very least, strongly restrict what companies have access to it. It just isn't a worthwhile risk for me at this point in my life.
