Dads, your kids are watching everything you do, even when you think they’re not paying attention.

They’re watching how you treat their mom. How you handle stress. Whether you keep your promises. How you react when things don’t go your way. Whether you own your mistakes or blame everyone else.

You’re not just providing for them, you’re showing them what a man looks like. What strength looks like. What integrity looks like. They’re learning from you whether the world is safe, whether they matter, whether people can be trusted.

A lot of fathers think their job is mainly to work and provide money. That matters, but it’s not enough. Your presence matters. Your attention matters. The way you listen when they talk about something you don’t care about, that matters.

You don’t have to be perfect. You’ll mess up, and that’s okay. What matters is being there, being consistent, and actually caring about who they’re becoming.

The distance you create now, the conversations you avoid, the times you choose work or your phone over them, that stuff echoes for decades.

Your role is bigger than you think. Show up for them now or they’ll rely on a government that will use you children for profit.

Did some traveling. Terrible time to travel. But I made. lol.

When we debate which faction should wield state power, we’re arguing over who gets to hold the leash, while missing that the leash itself is the problem. Real economic and social power belongs to those creating value, not those regulating its creation.

The question isn’t who should control the machinery of government, but how quickly we can reduce that machinery to its minimal necessary functions…protecting rights, enforcing contracts, preventing coercion. Everything beyond that is just different factions taking turns standing in the way.

Get out of our way!

In 2000, Saddam Hussein did something very few people paid attention to.

He announced Iraq would start selling oil in euros, not U.S. dollars.

Three years later, the United States invaded Iraq.

No weapons of mass destruction were ever found.

But something else happened quietly.

Iraqi oil went right back to being priced in dollars.

Most people call that a coincidence.

I call it a lesson.

In 2009, Muammar Gaddafi proposed something even more dangerous.

A gold-backed African currency — the gold dinar.

It would have allowed African nations to buy oil without using dollars.

In 2011, NATO intervened in Libya for “humanitarian reasons.”

Gaddafi was killed.

The gold dinar disappeared.

Libyan oil? Back to dollars.

Another coincidence.

I’m noticing a pattern.

Go back further.

In 1971, President Nixon took the U.S. dollar off the gold standard.

The dollar was no longer backed by gold — only a promise.

By all historical logic, the dollar should have collapsed.

It didn’t.

Why?

Because three years later, Henry Kissinger cut a deal with Saudi Arabia.

The deal was simple:

Sell oil only in U.S. dollars, and the U.S. military will protect the regime.

From that moment on, every country on earth needed dollars to buy energy.

That wasn’t free-market economics.

That was force-backed monetary policy.

Or, more honestly, a protection racket.

And it works — as long as the military can enforce it.

Watch what happens when countries challenge it.

Russia demands rubles for natural gas?

Sanctions. Escalation.

Syria discusses pipelines priced outside the dollar system?

Civil war intensifies. Pipeline never happens.

Iran tries to sell oil outside the dollar?

Decades of sanctions.

I’m not saying these are good governments or bad governments.

I’m saying watch what happens when anyone threatens the petrodollar system.

Once you see it, the pattern isn’t subtle.

SWIFT is not a neutral payment system.

It’s a weapon.

Get cut off from SWIFT, and you’re locked out of global trade.

Russia.

Iran.

Cuba.

Venezuela.

Different politics. Same outcome.

They don’t teach this in school because it’s uncomfortable.

We don’t send 18-year-olds to die for “freedom.”

We send them to protect reserve currency status.

Currency funds the military.

The military protects the currency.

That’s how empires work.

Britain learned this the hard way.

The British pound was the world’s reserve currency for nearly 200 years.

After World War II, Britain lost reserve status.

Within two decades, the British Empire collapsed.

Same cycle.

Dutch guilder.

British pound.

Now the U.S. dollar.

Ray Dalio has been warning about this for years.

Late-stage empire looks like this:

• Military overextension

• Rising debt

• Currency weakening

• Rivals building alternatives

China’s Belt and Road isn’t charity.

It’s about creating debt relationships denominated in yuan.

BRICS aren’t talking about alternatives because they’re friends.

They’re building an exit ramp from dollar dependence.

When the dollar loses reserve status — not if, when — the ability to print money without consequences disappears.

- Then the military contracts.

- Then the empire ends.

- You can call this cynical.

I call it financial history.

Every war in my lifetime had a currency angle — if you knew where to look.

“Freedom and democracy” is the marketing.

The actual policy documents talk about

“maintaining dollar liquidity in global energy markets.”

I’m not anti-military.

I’m anti-bullshit.

If we’re sending people to fight…

We should at least be honest about why.

So….crimes were committed. I’m not shocked.

Does this already have the makings of a slow and quiet Nostr week?

Wake up people! It’s the season of giving and spending time with your fav peeps.

Guess who’s back, back on the protocol

Back with the keys, no need for the optional

Decentralized chat, that’s the radical

Notes and relays, yeah, that’s just logical

I’ve created a monster, ’cause nobody wants to

See centralized no more, they want Nostr, I’m poster

Well if you want Nostr, this is what I’ll give ya…

A cheesy little rhyme for my return back to Nost after a long weekend break. Missed y’all!! Gm.

Gm to some of my favorite people. May your day be filled with joy. Now go and let some zaps fly!

Be an encouragement to someone. Like right now.

The silence between signals has its own integrity. When a feed is quiet, you know it’s actually quiet, not engineered scarcity designed to make you refresh.

Every post arrives because someone chose to speak, not because an optimization function predicted it would maximize your engagement. There’s something clarifying about a protocol that doesn’t have opinions about what you should see. Not only clarifying, it’s real. It’s human. It’s the way it should be.

Muscle memory is great for a lot of things, but as I get older, it’s gotten so strong that I’ll walk into a fully lit room and my brain still goes “Better turn on the lights” like I’m standing in complete darkness.

You never know. My muscle memory is so strong that I’ll walk into a fully lit room and my brain still goes “Better turn on the lights” like I’m standing in complete darkness

Got lower back pain? Got rotator joint pain? I started doing this years ago and it works.

The dead hang might be the simplest fix for your shoulders and lower back.

Hang from a bar for 30-60 seconds. That’s it.

What happens? Your shoulder joints decompress and restore natural spacing. The scapula resets to proper position. Your spine lengthens under traction, releasing compressed discs in the lower back.

Modern life keeps us hunched forward. The dead hang does the opposite. It opens your chest, externally rotates your shoulders, and lets gravity work for you instead of against you.

Start with Progressive loading. 10-20 seconds. Build to 2+ minutes over weeks. Do it daily.

Your CNS also recalibrates. Hanging activates reflexive grip strength and full body tension patterns we’ve lost sitting all day.

Ancient movement pattern. Zero equipment needed. Maximum return.

I have just launched a new Nostr Live Streaming Server with recordings and VOD playback of your live streams, so that people can view you live, or come back and watch your replay whenever they like.

I'm looking for testers and am interested in your feedback.

The server uses Cloud Flare live stream as the backend and serves your recordings from there, so should be (I hope!) highly available and responsive.

It also solves the issue we had for Shosho users on iPhone where the server would disconnect mid-stream.

Would you like to try it?

If you are on Shosho and want to test it IRL, click Add Server > Nostr Streaming Server > and then enter: "https://api.shosho.live/api/v1" and the app will connect.

For other systems, the API is based-on and interchangeable-with ZS, so swap "api-core.zap.stream" with "api.shosho.live" and it should "just work".

For those technical folks who can use the above, this is all available for you now. For everyone else I look forward to making this more accessible in the new year!

As always thanks for your help and advice everyone nostr:npub1v0lxxxxutpvrelsksy8cdhgfux9l6a42hsj2qzquu2zk7vc9qnkszrqj49 nostr:npub1c7k2hu076gq62vv9unw9urrt4c4utkce6uatlpq9xhestk8s2xqql8qh4c nostr:npub1de6l09erjl9r990q7n9ql0rwh8x8n059ht7a267n0q3qe28wua8q20q0sd nostr:npub1q6ps7m94jfdastx2tx76sj8sq4nxdhlsgmzns2tr4xt6ydx6grzspm0kxr nostr:npub1qe3e5wrvnsgpggtkytxteaqfprz0rgxr8c3l34kk3a9t7e2l3acslezefe nostr:npub1zl3g38a6qypp6py2z07shggg45cu8qex992xpss7d8zrl28mu52s4cjajh nostr:npub1826v365he5ty69lk3xgvzqrwy8587vdfrxnsz0k09khzustf8r7s6j7t95 nostr:npub1j42rxzt0eg3r72ddl4f2psk7q73u2t4ksrumfk0td3rdjxtv2s8qk2u4jf et al

SATAN (Security Administrator Tool for Analyzing Networks) was basically a program that looked at computers and networks to find weak spots.

If I can get in sooner, we can do that also. But I won’t know until tomorrow morning my time
