Next time man. I promise.

So I think that synthetic blood grown meat can be organic and wholesome. I think it’s likely the 3D technology will need to be accommodated in ways that will likely compromise human health.

Cooking with our grass fed beef, pork, jalapeños and habaneros from the garden. The jalapeños and habaneros are chicken poop fed, of course! So proud! #homestead

Do you prefer aluminum for a specific reason?

So I prefer the pre-Griswold Erie from the late 1800’s. Up until about 1960 the iron in those pans came from Pennsylvania foundries. That Penn state gray iron is an amazing cooking surface. You can find them on EBay, they’re not cheap but so worth it. Just Erie on the back is 1800’s, Griswold large logo is up to 1960 and the Griswold small logo goes to the 1970’s when Griswold stopped making pans.

It is a huge country, out west there are places literally 500km from anyone or anything.

Necessity doesn’t make fiat the correct solution, just as sound fundamentals doesn’t make Bitcoin a solution unless widespread adoption makes it a suitable replacement. The answer, as is the case in so many complex systems is hybrid and diversified rather than dichotomous.

This comment is awful, but also delightful.

I noticed that the latest Bitcoin software is not available for download in the UK. To all my friends in the UK, please get a decent VPN and tell your government to stick it up their asses. #Bitcoin #UK Run a full node.

Disagree here. I agree that raising the minimum wage isn’t going to help. I disagree that industry is going to realize the value of labor. Corporations only maximize profit margins, a function of impetus from the shareholders who largely are the wealthy elite, a class that their workers don’t have meaningful access to. I think that reasonable organized labor is the answer. The unions need to stop being ridiculous and start recognizing that true power lays with the masses, not an easily controlled niche market like longshoremen or warehouse workers. Let the real blue collars tell the overlords what we really want.

Shelter Cove, CA?

My experience is that the working class is sliding into poverty, the educated middle class is experiencing scarcity and agitation, though now education is priced out of the reach of intelligent working people, so likely the generation one to two decades away from retirement now will be the last of their kind, intelligent people know that with student loan debt, low wages, expensive housing, and inflationary cost of living increases there is no path without an endowment. Endowments and investments are fueling the entitled elites, and they will stop at nothing to protect the corporate profits fueling their status so, yeah, quite a distance away…if we ever actually get there.
