Shitcoins will never truly attain the longevity their proponents hope for because, in truth, there is no spoon.
You really really want the spoon.
Well put, Jack.
To clarify, it's not using the nsecBunker service - Just the rela, as Amber acts as the Bunker itself.
That's right.
I suppose given the login URL that Amber generates is your npub along with a Bunker nsec relay, it uses the two, so when noStrudel needs to sign something, it calls Amber on Android via the relay+npub, and Amber notifies you to allow/disallow as/when required.
I now only use #Amber as my event signer.
On mobile, it manages access to my #nostr private key when on #Amethyst and on #0xchat.
When on desktop, #NoStrudel calls Amber when it needs to sign something (with granular control for remembering an action if I so wish.
If you're not using Amber, there's really nothing better right now.
Oh god yes... I can stack No-KYC sats via lightning in bed.

Running into an issue with a new #tor only, #Start9 powered #Lightning node.
It seems it has trouble receiving payments due to a lack of routes (I usually also include private hints) and over the course of a couple of months hasn't shown up on 1ml. It has 2 channels open, one with LNBig, and another with Olympus.
I've ran lightning nodes before, from the early days of Umbrel to MyNode, to a manually configured Lightning Dojo (my longest running node), and haven't run into this particular issue, my node seems to be, for the most part, invisible. Could my channels being opened as private channels have an effect on whether my node announces itself?
Any ideas?
#AskNostr #Bitcoin
Insane we've heard nothing yet.
This is why Samourai fought for Bitcoin privacy, anonymity, and this goes to show the importance of No-KYC sats, as a weapon and shield.
If they can identify you by your sats, the lengths to which they'll go to ensure your loss is their victory is ever-increasing.
Perfectly put, my plan also.
As we empower ourselves as sovereign individuals, what was once unthinkable becomes easily achievable.
Bitcoin isn't just money. It's not just the quantity of the sats you hold. It's borderless, mobile wealth that everyone wants a piece of, even if they don't know it yet.

This is nostr's sideway action.
It's also summer, people are out more.
Action will come again.
It's entertaining to watch all the people fleeing from #Telegram to #Signal or what have you.
Moving from an application with #closedsource components... To an app, with... closedsource components,
or a stupidly high barrier of entrance for #selfhosting - If the self-hosting isn't accessible, it won't decentralise naturally.
Abu Dhabi is a beautiful #city with a lot going for it.
In many respects, it's very forward-thinking and has huge potential as a global beacon.
Unfortunately however, this week it has also taken some essential steps towards a #CBDC.
And that's all I can say.

Latest #Lightning payment struck so hard it sent the hotel wifi flying back into a captive portal.
Those #sats are criminal.
Like all things in Bitcoin being based on trade-offs, I think Lightning's is precisely that - Liquidity... and sure, some privacy too (which is being refined with BOLTs).
I'm currently of the mind that, aside from other L2s like Ark really taking off, most people will eventually just use either custodial LN, or ecash. And being a small LSP operator for a mint used by a community or family, may be worth the hassle.

Devs working on Android apps (Native or PWAs) should not allow nsecs in their apps anymore. Amethyst will start to deprecate our nsec-based logins in the upcoming versions.
Heck yes! Finally. Been using Amber for a couple months now and was finding it hard to believe how inputting nsecs was still a standard. A necessary step for nostr but good riddance.
There are both web and mobile native client alternatives to Primal that are pretty feature-packed and don't do KYC. I've tried Primal in the past, and understand that the overall UX is pretty tight, but I can't see a reason to not use others - Especially when there are so many things Primal just does wrong (no nsec/bunker signing, KYC wallet, no logout option, etc) . Snort, Amethyst, noStrudel, Iris, Coracle, etc are some alternatives.
The legal defense fund for Samourai Wallet is now open and accepting donations: https://p2prights.org/
This particular fight is important because the precedent set in this matter will either reinforce the principles that non-custodial wallets are not money transmitters or it will put targets on the backs of all wallet developers.
If you really came here for the freedom tech then get in this fight and show your support. There will not be a second chance to repair the damage done if the DOJ is not stopped here and now.
Low fee #mempool - NOW is the PERFECT TIME to #support #Samourai devs with some on-chain sats!! They're fighting for YOUR right to #freedom, whether they agree with you or not. Pay in kind.
