Good morning! I hope you have a great day!

GM!

I hope you have a good day.

Is there something I can pray for you?

To all big blockers, I am happy to concede that Satoshi wanted big blocks. It doesn't matter, so I don't care.

Satoshi is not God. He made mistakes. His code - and his vision - was not infallible.

I. Don't. Care.

Steve Patterson won the debate with nostr:nprofile1qqstnem9g6aqv3tw6vqaneftcj06frns56lj9q470gdww228vysz8hqpzdmhxue69uhkzmr8duh82arcduhx7mn9qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqgdwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkcam28zl if the debate was who was the biggest asshole.

He violated every rule he claimed was a problem:

- shreiking

- interrupting

- belittling

Is this really the best the big blockers have to offer?!?

Tbh, it doesn't even matter if you're right that big blocks were what Satoshi wanted.

You lost. Your chain was out competed. And continues to be out competed in a free and open market.

There are few who have earned this more than big blockers: have fun staying poor.

I assume you meant Anarcho Christian and not arachno Christian.

The former and someone who is an anarchist and a Christian. Summarized by: No King but Christ.

The latter sounds like a Christian superhero spinoff.

On the assumption that God is smarter and wiser than me, there are things that he comprehends that, not only do I not comprehend, I'm incapable of comprehension. And on the assumption that he is good, sometimes obedience is what is called for from God.

God being both perfectly wise AND perfectly good, while I am imperfect in both those areas. Obedience to him different than obedience to humans.

Analogously: you probably do this in all sorts of areas. I suspect if I were to give you a ride in my airplane, you'd defer to my wisdom on how to safely land. Is that deference different than obedience?

If I fully understand what has been said then the former. Sometimes though I need to read the comments to get the context that explains what the original thing I read meant.

I think I get what you're trying to say: God doesn't want that kind of relationship with us. He wants to have a loving relationship.

But I think that relationship also involves following him as leader. And sometimes that involves obedience.

Counter argument:

Obedience to truth, obedience to God, those are virtues.

Obedience to anything else is idolatry.

I've stopped trying to orange pill people.

Bitcoin is too big. It's so big that after years of looking into it, I'm nowhere near the bottom.

But it's also so big that there's no 15 minute video, no one hour seminar, not even a single book, that can contain enough information to sway a person mired in the fiat mindset. Bitcoin is too big to be summarized.

For someone to drop the fiat mindset, they have to want it. They have to dive down the rabbit hole on their own. I can't even lead them to the edge. The best I can do is tell them where the rabbit hole is. But they have to go to it and they have to decide to dive in.

This is analogous to Christian evangelism. All that seek will find. Those who knock, the door will be open.

But I can't convince someone who doesn't think they need to be saved of how great it is that Jesus saves. They have to want it themselves.

For both the best I can do is let them know I'm here if they want to know what my experience has been.

Let me know if you think this is a mistaken mindset.

Sunsets on the ocean are often incredible.

GM!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

GM! I hope you have a productive and enriching Wednesday.

The point is that the 21 million supply can't ever be increased, and that protects the value of the portion of that supply that I control.
