This is what I did for my last tattoo. I got temp tattoo paper and over a couple of months tweaked it to what I wanted. changed the size, orientation, removed lines that weren't working. really glad I did it that way. now I've got exactly what I want.

i through my hp out after the second time a firmware auto update (even though I had auto updates turned off) magically made all my ink disappear.

Damus doesn’t have an option to mark a note with a content warning, so your best bet is adding #NSFW as far as I know.
