I’m guilty of taking on more than I can handle. It’s definitely a balance of learning what’s healthy. You can do it!
Thoughts and belief are more powerful than we know.
It’s always possible to be respected by yourself. Healthy eating and small steps of discipline have worked for me.
Stacking sats and hodling can be a of asceticism. I wonder if that’s why such a significant portion of bitcoiners become highly spiritual.
I’m not the person to ask, but this note felt useful: nostr:nevent1qqsrxlxdkl5wf677qdzh6w55lyupz6xpq0e4krmn8h7entpajs7ephqpkn8ln
I don’t know why but I misinterpreted the logical fallacies from that episode as being the only ones. However, to your point, there are many more; and the podcast host has since made at least 2 more episodes to further expand on more logical fallacies.
I’ll keep those books in mind! Thanks 🤙
I did Duolingo for 160 days to prepare for a trip to El Salvador. It helped a ton, but formal lessons would have taught me probably 10x faster. I continued until I went for about 2 years. After stopping, I still retained a lot, but the best way is more formal education/lessons and diving into the language/culture.
Finished laying down the floor for my kitchen this week

So much beauty in wintertime
Remembering to move with the #breath in the #gym is key to staying mobile and avoiding aches. Something as simple as watching your inhales and exhales with each rep is huge. Taking time to stretch and practice movements between sets is helpful too.
Just some things I’ve noticed and incorporated lately.
ENJO THE MOMENT

Watch this video and then watch it again, focusing on the lips of the man.
This video is altered using AI in order to ragebait. Don’t fall for the trap. Know your enemy.
This reminds me of Terence McKenna’s last video interview that I watched for the first time in entirety last night. His “novelty theory” basically says that things will become exponentially more complex until the rate of change is so high that we’ll have to talk about how weird it is. It does feel like we are reaching the pinnacle of things somehow.
You’re making opportunity cost calculations on only one side of the equation. Here’s the temporal paradox destroying your value system.

Great deep thinking on this. Some ideas come to my mind after watching, which are more surface level:
1. What does the world look like if the end state is all information being free? I think Aaron Schwartz talked about this. I wonder how close bitcoin and nostr can get us to this?
2. It’s difficult to assess just how much value information will provide to you until you actually consume it. It’s similar to physical consumer products, except that information is often a one-time use. This conundrum with information as a product is best suited when consumers can consume it first and then pay for its value afterward, but this is not a good business model, even if the target demographic is righteous and giving.
I’ve been in the market for a quarter beef cow share.
I found a local source of beef that ticks a lot of boxes: no vaccines, no antibiotics, no soy, hay during winter, no GMOs, grass-fed…
BUT it’s not grass-finished. It is fed organic corn from the same, local farm for the last 6 months of its life.
I know this type of practice can improve the taste of beef because it becomes marbled with fat.
But what are the realistic trade-offs with respect to health? Should I keep looking for a grass-finished option? What say you, nostr?

This guy’s cousin finally understood the Federal Reserve, and he’s on Reddit begging for a way to “refute” him.

Honestly, well-posed question for reddit. It almost feels like the author is pretending to be unconvinced by his cousin in order to garner support for said “cousin”.
Either way, would love to see good-intentioned efforts to refute the claims.
This guy has assembled a fighter jet cockpit in his garage, complete with turbines, a launcher, and even an aircraft machine gun.

I would guess that it’s a solar-powered well. I’m definitely no expert in wells, but I know they require a pump to bring the water up from deep underground to the surface. The solar panel may provide power to the pump that brings the water to the tank.
The DNA contamination I spoke about nostr:npub167n5w6cj2wseqtmk26zllc7n28uv9c4vw28k2kht206vnghe5a7stgzu3r is now through peer review.

Forgive my ignorance, my knowledge comes from your and Uncle Jack’s podcast appearances, plus I just read the abstract.
It seems Qubit fluorometry is a reliable method of measuring DNA counts.
But is qPCR a reliable method for testing for the presence of SV40? I’ve heard criticisms of PCR tests, but I don’t know exactly what its pitfalls are.

I briefly looked through my X feed yesterday to find accounts that still bring me value. These are candidates for accounts I would repost to nostr if I make the time to code up a bot. Any accounts that you’d like to see migrate to nostr?

Wishing you a speedy recovery from here on out.
I just finished this last part of this series by Michael Meade titled “Your Calling Keeps Calling”. They’re short videos that I’ve watched on my lunch breaks.
The following quote resonated with me because as I have found myself awakening in the past couple years, I see others doing the same. Some have called it #TheGreatAwakening.
“If we're gonna change the world, we're gonna need as many genius selves awakening to their calling as possible with no definition of what that means and no steps laid out predetermined.” - Michael Meade
I had my third horseback riding lesson from my neighbor today! I’ve ridden two horses now and trotted outside the arena in an open field today.
Feeling incredibly grateful to have such generous community members.
At this rate, this will be me by winter 😂

Thanks for sharing! I’m considering buying some food supplies for my egg supplier, so I will look into this is an option.
Do peaters have thoughts on Cod Liver Oil? I’m definitely in the #peat space but I haven’t seen anyone talk about it before.
#Ephesians reminding me to stay humble and stack sats while I work my way to freedom through the fiat mines.

Asked my neighbors yesterday if I could get horseback riding lessons in exchange for helping out around the ranch. This morning I had my first lesson.
You can just do things.
Of all the changes I made, supplementing bovine naturally desiccated thyroid (NDT) was probably the most effective method of curing my hypothyroidism.
If NDT gets banned, the closest alternatives to NDT would be synthetic thyroids, which are patented by pharmaceutical companies.

My posture has improved noticeably in short time by practicing wall angels. My focus is on raising arms while keeping wrists close to the wall and also maintaining the lower back close to the wall (straight spine). Breathe in as arms raise.

I think people underestimate this. If Trevor Rainbolt can determine location just by looking at the grass or the sky, imagine what a machine can do.
I used to really like Phoenix but I pulled my funds out when all the Samourai stuff went down. It seems like things have settled down now though, so it may be a good time to check it out again. Thanks!
