Remember, tyranny always comes in the form of a system upgrade.

I've been a #carnivore for 55 days. I'm down 33 lbs, 4" off my waist, 1" off my neck, and have lost 5% bodyfat. Inflamation is SO MUCH BETTER. Fingers less swollen. No more arthritis pains in my hands when I grip tightly.

My rate of fatloss has leveled to about 7.5 lbs per month. A little slower than I had hoped, but admittedly I'm not really doing any extra exercise.

Account Abstraction requires the rules for valid transactions to be abstracted from the protocol level to the "account" level. If you think a change like that SHOULD come without an EXHAUSTING amount of pushback, probing, caution, game theorizing, testing, etc., you are NOT a person who seriously contends for the longevity and resiliency of the bitcoin protocol. You care more about growth and bag pumping than you do about long-run sustainability.

Digital tyranny will come in the form of a system upgrade. Ossified systems do not suddenly turn oppressive, only liquid ones do.

If I could get Bitcoiners to understand one thing it would be that EVERY UPGRADE IS A POTENTIAL ATTACK.

To replace product managers with AI, requires end-users to accurately describe what they want... we're safe too.

I don't give Nic Carter a single bit of credit for his "Operation Chokepoint 2.0" prediction. Maxis have been predicting it for a decade and it is EXACTLY why Bitcoin is the way it is. The truth is Nic FAILED TO PREDICT OPERATION CHOKEPOINT 2.0.

Keep lighting fires, brothers.

Metric system proponents are midwits.

Monopoly for Bitcoiners

How to make the game of Monopoly even better:

1. To setup, each player starts with a fresh wallet of X satoshi, as agreed by all players.

2. No bank, limit 10 hotels, 30 houses. (Any player can act as a bank with his or her own money)

3. Properties, houses, and hotels are initially unowned.

4. Players role to move. The player roles and ADDS 1 for each house and 6 for each hotel at his current position.

5. To move, a player must negotiate rent w/ any property between 0 spaces and the calculated move (*see rule 4.)

6. Players can choose not to advance, but must negotiate a new rent w/ property owner if property is owned. Rent is paid in sats directly to the land owner.

7. Players can always choose to advance to Free Parking on any move regardless of role.

8. No $ for passing Go.

9. Property is homesteaded. In order to acquire an unowned property, one must build on it. To build, a player must either:

- sacrifice turns to build (3 turns for each house, 6 turns +4 houses for a hotel)

- negotiate to buy and transfer a house from another player

10. Utilities, RR, and Jail are all startups. To own one, a player must land on the spot AND stay there. A player can only collect utility, RR, or Jail fees if he is on the spot.

11. Chance and Community Chest fees/rewards are paid to the person on the player's right (or received from the person on the left).

12. There are no taxes (taxation is theft).

13. Players can "import" snacks/drinks, buying them with their in-game sats at a pre-defined rate determined by the host (ex. 100 sats per chip; 5000 sats per drink). The sats spent on them is removed from circulation.

13. Players can "import" snacks/drinks, buying them with their money at a pre-defined rate, (ex. $1 per chip; $10 per drink), but the money spent on them is removed from circulation.

The LRC generally and the Lew Rockwell Show in particular were the single most important source of information for me in my transition.

Any other Trop Rock fans up in here?

Homo Bitcoinus has been an intrinsic part of who we are as a species all along, waiting to be unveiled. Seeing it magnifies the very essence of our existence.

Bitcoin is the new world order... and it is relentless.

Happy first day of hurricane season, y'all. 🌩️

I've said it 1000x: when it works, there is NOTHING more efficient than trust.

Who on earth wants to live in a trustless society?

Lol... SHIFTWORK doesn't actually exist. I'm making fun of Lowery's book SOFTWAR.

Now that is a book I'd read:

It's a solid 3.5 to a NY 10. But it did the job for me.

That said, I make this flatbread, refrigerate it, then make sandwiches with it and it is really good. I even prefer it to the gluten free/keto store bought breads now.

Note: you can't toast this like gluten free/keto breads. But for a cold sandwich, it is bomb!

I would! It would light a fire under my butt to actually get my Technician and General.

We use GMRS religiously out here. Lucky to have a FANTASTIC repeater that covers the entire county. I keep meaning to move over to ham, but... well, if it ain't broke...

Like all men of any stature, I still pretend that I have super powers when I walk through automatic sliding doors.

To the Bitcoiners like me stuck mining fiat in Normyville this week: y'all remember that we may be missing the fandango, but those bits and bytes we are chasing, they don't dance, don't drink, and don't party. They wait. Patient. For us. For all of us. So let's not moan about some missed glitz. Stay at home tonight. Hug your kids when you tuck them in. Make love to your wife. Then wake up in the morning before sun up, like we always do, French kiss life square in the mouth and make it all happen again. Again... always.

How many of those are in p2pk addresses? Satoshi’s are. It’s only a matter of time before some quantum engineer gets tempted by the pot. A man can disappear pretty well with $27B in bitcoin. Don’t count any “lost” p2pk coins as “lost forever”.

2nd amendment isn't for hunters. They know what it's for, that's why they are trying to get around it. #StateOfTheUnion
