Authored NIP-88 (polls), Made formstr.app , pollerama.fun, NRPC and other cool nostr things. Owns the color purple.

Anybody know a censorship resistant code hosting where I can host it, it includes some YouTube specific stuff for playback and I don't want daddy GitHub to block my profile or something. If nothing else I may just create a torrent and publish it on dtan.

Split fiction is an absolute beauty of a game, can't recommend it enough.

Another Nostr Idea: Nostr Cast, replaces Google chrome, Apple Airplay, works through the internet (not necessarily wifi), secured through whitelisted pubkeys.

I'm halfway through here, got fed up and made my own casting solution, doesn't work with nostr yet though, it'd be kind of cool.

It keeps dying and coming back, just like a fractal, fractalchris

You copy paste them for now but i could see an extension doing this

There's a website https://pollerama.fun it connects to your relays , it works on nip-88 polls.

I love that I can code and I can get ai to do stupid stuff, coded up a wifi server that is connected to a speaker, that takes YouTube links and plays it on the speaker, works flawlessly

Fuck Chromecast, Fuck Airplay.

Love this.

Probably isn't even counted in these stats.

Who knows, it's happening everywhere all at once, it's the individuals that are doing it not sovereigns, I guess one of the places where you could find something like what you're looking for is https://btcmap.org

The context drastically changes depending on where you intended to place the "," in your now πŸ˜‚

Not unless you download the podcast write it to an SD card slot and shove it in the player.

There are wifi and Bluetooth enabled ones as well that would make it easier, but then they're not too different from phones.

The part that makes a conscious choice to stop being involved in thech, communities, ideologies that take away individual choice.

Yeah it not having internet/Bluetooth/ and wifi was a big deal for me, so Spotify is out of the question off the bat πŸ˜‚

It says "Audiocular" ? Didn't matter much since it was very cheap πŸ˜›

Just bought myself an mp3 player cause I didn't want to use my phone as one, you could get one without Bluetooth, wifi, or any radio communicator, and it just plays mp3 from your device.

People barely understand the version on pollerama enough to implement it on their clients πŸ˜‚

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linus%27s_law becomes apparent at > 0 users. What to focus on is a gravitational force that becomes inescapably obvious. The hard part after that is what to build that brings everyone else.

The cathedral and the bazaar is a must read fro software engineers or managers or anyone involved in the Software Development Lifecycle

Voyage has polls, Chachi has polls, getwired has polls, Alexandria clients have polls, that's more than 1 client.

You talked about Bitcoin price! 🀭

Tbh Bluetooth mesh networks are a proof of concept, and not very useful, there may still be useful in cases like finding someone in a concert or something, mobile networks don't usually work in cases like these.

But we can just use this same tech and build a hopping mesh network on wifi hotspots, most phones have it, good range good bandwidth and multiple hops can mean a much much greater distance.

Didn't mean it in the literal context, meant it as an implication of the argument he's making.

Devstral, gemma3, qwen, it doesn't matter, it's the same issue and it's only with Goose agents are working on zed and other agentic things.

#asknostr I'm trying to use goose, with a local llm, but goose has this problem where it doesn't carry forward context from the current message to the next.

For example if I ask it: "What's 2+ 2"

It says "4"

But then if I ask it "What did I just ask you?" It doesn't remember shit.

It's incredibly frustrating. It's a great tool and I want to use it for tasks I know my local brain is capable of without spending a gazillion $s. But I simply can't because of this frustrating issue.

Anyone else face this? Know a workaround?

With nostr:nprofile1qqs8t4ehcdrjgugzn3zgw6enp53gg2y2gfmekkg69m2d4gwxcpl04acpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsvd43n5 I wonder how privacy works with big groups?

"Two men can keep a secret if one is dead." yet you are talking about private group chats of thousands? If one group member started leaking the chat in real time anonymously, would these messages be verifiably authored by their pubkeys or would the leaker have to expose his own pubkey for that?

The inner messages are unsigned so there's always deniability.

You know your apps good when it starts getting japanese users πŸ˜›

People are not just ignorant, they're ignorant and proud of it.

NIP07 extensions should also have an option to connect to remote signers. This way individual websites wouldn't have to build for it separately.

Good idea, link previews are hard to do purely on client side, but I'll see what I can do.

You can now create kind 1 notes with https://pollerama.fun πŸŽ‰ . It's just going to be a full client folks. Just a very weird, fun one.

I think you specifically need to tell it to create a video

Did you not see that dog feed the baby? I mean c'mon, so much better than the recent marvel slop πŸ˜‚
