Reposts/boosts give any interactions to the original note. Some clients don't show reposts & some filter some of them out. Quotes also show up as replies in some clients & as just stand-alone notes in others so that probably adds to exposure too. So... technical

I’m curious about reposts vs quote posts. I get tons more interactions when i do a quote post instead of just a repost. 

Are folks just not seeing the reposts or is the commentary provided with the quote post the critical thing? Is this a social or technology issue?
