Yes, unless you renegotiate your pay constantly, and totally succeed every time, it is essentially a compounded loss. Imagine a young widow who was delighted to buy what seemed to be a fantastically generous $800 per month annuity with her late husband's life insurance policy in 1975. Bitcoin is definitely anti-finance-capitalism and anti-waste. When your money is brought into existence without the need to constantly pay interest on it, the toxic "we need growth, growth, growth all the time" attitude can be seen for the social poison that it is. And when your currency is always increasing in purchasing power, there is no desire to spend, spend, spend, and spend quickly -- instead, this is replaced by a desire to only spend when it is really necessary or extremely beneficial.
