Ask yourself how many people in the world care about those things, and if you care to broadcast your reach further. If you do then put lightning in the background, and diversify the content. If not that’s cool continue what’s your doing. For what it is currently it’s a successful grouping of those people. If you want more then ask what people want. Unfortunately that’s stupid cat videos, and not bit coin.

I dislike positive feedback. It feels like people are just fluffing my ego, and not being straight with me. Tell me what’s wrong. Tell me what you dislike about my product. That’s what I’m here for. One negative review is worth 1000’s of positives reviews. You just have to not be butt hurt when someone tells you you’re not all that. Even when they’re not exactly friendly about it. It’s not just a bad review, but a free market telling you what the market demands. Ignore it, and have limited success. Address the market demands, and thrive. I can’t do that with 1000’s, or millions telling me how great I am.

I run a business in the trades, and you’re not lying. The issue isn’t a new one either. This has been going on since the 70’s. In any case I suppose I don’t really mind. I’m set to retire in a better way than %90 of college grads, and there’s not much I can’t fix myself. So if skill sets disappear then I’ll be alright. So will my kids. They all worked in the business. Society is going to be screwed though. It’s a good time to get into the trades has been a saying for decades now, it’s true today, and will be even more so in 2030.

Brave browser vpn user here, and looking for a family plan that brave dose not offer. In the search I figured how dumb I’ve been for paying so much for that service, but I’m unsure what to trust in vpn’s. Some of which I’ve read are really just data scalping project under the promise of protecting data. Any recommendations for a good free vpn? Tia

Idk if it’s unsustainable, and it’s definitely good for privacy. I wouldn’t say edgy so much as diverse. I love the idea of nostr, and would love to see it implemented in so many people’s lives that it would nuter a central authority’s ability to control the internet. Diverse content does that. Bitcoin by itself doesn’t. I pop in occasionally to check on progress with a couple of the different clients. I haven’t seen anything yet to say Nostr is now scalable. It’s currently if we build it they will come, and respectfully that’s a terrible business plan. It doesn’t offer content that a very very very large demographic wants. It’s a bit like saying if we build it they will….shit we forgot the base ball bats. All this to say I offer constructive criticism because I believe in what nostr can do, and would like to see it dominate.

Bluesky isn’t all that great imo. First off I’m not a big fan of the Twitter UI to begin with. So really that one applies to Nostr also as most of them are some form of a Twitter clone. Second maybe it’s just my personal moderator, but all I ever see is a big bitch fest. Like no one seems to be very happy over there. Just happy to vent. 3rd it’s primarily left wingers. That content doesn’t really appeal to me. 4th (and I’m just now learning this). Content moderation. I didn’t know they were doing that tbh. It’s going to corrupt the fediverse even further than it already is, and send it to an early grave. Side note Id Yole part of the Bluesky team, or were they all just at the same conference? I’d like to run as far as I can from anything that dudes has his hands in.

Yeah I went through all the social medias looking for something that wasn’t toxic. Shit even MySpace is terrible. It’s just not worth my time anymore tbh.

Eh you can still wire in Trump, and every time they go after him he goes up even more in the polls. People that were voting for Trump are still going to regardless of if he’s on the ballot, or not. If trends continue as they have this election cycle all this means is more people will now vote for him. If he is ousted from the elections though Ramaswamy has been positioning himself as the replacement Trump candidate. Either way Biden is in Trouble, and if Democrats were smart they would be looking at Newsom to fight this battle. They may be doing that as far as I know, but as it stands there aren’t many Republican candidates that Biden wins against. For my personal opinion it doesn’t really matter. Who ever gets elected will be the next president that screws us all over in one way, or the other.
