Body. Technology. Family. Freedom. Friends. Funny things The integration of all things. Seeking Solutions > Stating Problems Cascadia. Anarchy. Independence. “Be Free, Not Cheap” Telegram: @sparrow2120 Nostr Business Acct: @arrowspinetherapy - Teaching Full Ownership with #bodywork and #bitcoin.

So an engraving of my passphrase is the way to go, you are saying? I could even do it in cuneiform for added security 😂

Sure, but getting a laser disk converted to play on any modern system is mighty difficult for the average user I would imagine. I know cold wallets are the #BTC standard, but I imagine a scenario where those devices either get corrupted or are no longer compatible.

Ok, #bitcoin, I really want to know how future proof my USB 2.0 cold wallet is. I’m starting to think these will be like floppy drives in 15 years, and near impossible to find a way to utilize.

Thoughts?

I have too many online identities. I’m trying to integrate them all. I like have personas in different realms of focus, yet I have many skills that make me whole. I’m a builder, a musician, a PARENT, a cook, an organizer, a traveler, and a human.

I’ve been a body worker and Somatic Therapist for 10+ years. I work with people - hand-on in person therapy - and I see the effects of anxiety, political tensions, financial stresses, and physical pain as they degrade and interrupt the clear signals that our nervous systems are capable of picking up.

We are sensitive receptors of subtle energies. We are radio stations, with a lot of noise and static interference from the mixed up signals of culture, society, and the drive for survival.

Tech has caused far too much noise in our systems over the past few decades, but I don’t believe it’s a hardware problem.

We have let the potential for integration with greater knowledge, greater connection, and greater power be interfered with by noise aimed at interrupting the strong individual voice and purpose we all have trying to come through us.

Nostr already knows this. Don’t let tech pull the strings. Learn about it and understand it, just like we must learn about and understand our own human systems, in order to not let them control our freedom of thought, love and expression.

So can you post to Nostr directly from Obsidian?

No one here probably needs to hear this, but I’m always trying to make no-nonsense privacy arguments for my digitally averse, illiterate, or complacent friends. And yes, they are still my friends.

#bluesky is convincing people that it’s truly decentralized, the same way #whatsapp is scamming users about encryption.

Take the red pill.

Without reducing this to a matter of substances, there are most certainly some that can help one see deeper into the Matrix.

Great job! I’ll respond in kind with something I wrote around anarchy.

Ok, Newbie to nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg, can you explain to me, when someone zaps me to my lightning address, where is that going and how do I connect my wallet in the iOS app?

Oh, just signed up and this happens. Nice. nostr:note1apgr3g5udlsgx2w20wmh35q6yeqhkqp7axqdsug5cnlty2q2na9suyg0cq

Or getting it back into cash. The “freedom” of #bitcoin is being squeezed by our banks and govts.

Buying a prepaid card and using that online is the most direct and anon way I know of in the US.

This concept is one I’ve always pushed; your device should be like your purse or backpack. Everything you purchase or choose to put in it is yours and yours alone. If you want to give anyone or anything access to something in your purse, that is your decision to agree and consent to.

Imagine if your purse had a privacy clause that anything you put in it belonged to the manufacturer. This is what we do with our messages, our health data, our money and our social life. When did that become OK?

If there is a way to monetize free and deep thinking on here, then we can incentives good ideas over attention seeking.
