Day 2 of going Nostr-only for #nostrvember -
Time to set myself up to send and receive Zaps "properly" - i.e. without using a custodial wallet or service. Wallet of Satoshi was great for kicking the tires and seeing how easy is is to use Zaps on Nostr, but I prefer to follow "not your keys, not your Bitcoin" and run my own wallet, connected to my own node.
Took about an hour, but got myself all set up to send and receive Zaps non-custodially using a combination of Alby, LNBits, LNAddress, and my own Core Lightning node, all running over Tor.

Thereās also the weird phenomenon where people (even celebrities) seemed to really ālean intoā aging awhile back, while lots of people at those same ages today look WAAAY better / younger. Itās a freakish divide, where we now have a ton of 40/50 year olds running around looking better than 30 year olds.
