I miss using Palm PDA's through the years. I started with the greyscale Palm Zire and moved up all the way to the Palm T|X. The Palm Tungsten T3 was my favorite, as it was Palm's fastest handheld that still used real battery-backed RAM instead of flash for storage.
If I could use the original Palm Graffiti (Jot) handwriting system on a phone today, I would break out a stylus in a heartbeat.
I enjoyed Mr. Robot, but it was cancelled on USA Network too quickly for Sam Esmail to properly conclude the show. Still wondering how differently it could have ended.
Yep its about that time... to get everyone and their dog on Nostr 🤩
I haven't seen that movie, but I am thankful I experienced Chester's talents and gifts to the world. His voice still pushes me to keep going when everything else seems hopeless and lost.
If you're reading this and you're in a dark place, feeling like you have nowhere to turn, remember that somebody out there loves you, no matter what.

This made my day!
I've found a strong point of IPFS is keeping static content alive, but its always been a pain to introduce new content to the IPFS network. IPFS would make a nice backup facility to Nostr, but I would not make it a primary backend.
Nostr is a Twitter-esque social network, where instead of your posts living on a central corporate server, your posts live on multiple independent servers called relays. You can provide monetary rewards to posts you like by sending "zaps" via the Bitcoin Lightning Network, but that is completely optional. You cannot truly delete posts on Nostr, which helps keep people honest.
I appreciate the "alternative procedures" option at the bottom, which may or may not include being stuck in an interrogation room for 48 hours being grilled about why you care about your privacy so much.
I've come to my own realization that your body only works best based upon what you put into it, so the last part of your reply resonates with me a lot.
In regards to the zapping, I appreciate the thought! I've been afraid of setting up Bitcoin because I don't want to go through the mess of reporting it on my taxes. Maybe someday I'll change my mind.
Yes I see there is Bitcoin tax software out there, but would I effectively be taxed twice if I move assets from an exchange wallet to a cold wallet? You don't have to answer that question, but any advice you can give is appreciated.
Speaking as someone who nearly started HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) as a younger adult and changed my mind at the last minute, what made me change my mind was the fact that such a transition carries huge personal sacrifice. I did not want to be sterile, regardless if I eventually decide to have kids or not.
The final dealbreaker for me was the fact that I could never naturally birth children. I was jealous as a kid that I could never experience that, and that I could only begin the process for someone else.
I have long since worked past those feelings and accepted who I am as a biological male. I enjoy crossdressing at times and I always ask if it would make others uncomfortable if I do so. I do not seek to push any sort of identity onto others, as I hope they would make that consideration for me.
That being said, I will always respect how someone chooses to identify as that is their life and not my choice to make for them. The problem begins when society and government works to place one class of people arbitrarily above another. This is typically the cause of racism, sexism, etc.
Also as the article mentions, when one class of people has natural strength advantages over another, the stronger class should not be placing the weaker class into avoidable situations where they may be taken advantage of or harmed.
I understand my viewpoints may offend others, but I fully respect others to disagree and hold their own point of view.
Happy Birthday, and here's to many more!! 🎉🥳
That, and every client advertising a "Delete" button is comparable to the "Walk" button at a traffic crossing in USA: In reality they do nothing.
I believe greed is a key motivator in why we lack cures for diseases like cancer or Alzheimer's. You can't get repeat customers with a cure.
I also believe there are genuinely good people working to make these cures and dedicate their lives to the cause, but there is almost always a bean counter or two in the way of their goals.
