I talking to anybody who has been lead to believe that robust, long term health can be achieved by simply taking a pill or injecting the right elixir.

Such thinking ignores the giant elephant in the room, which is the extent to which the bodies have been poisoned and thrown out of balance.

When the body is nourished deeply, and the tissue mineral levels are in balance, most disease processes are kept in check without the need of any remedies, be they herbal, allopathic, or otherwise.

If these simple facts were widely known, and tended to, the market place for remedies and potions would evaporate, almost overnight. Along with most symptoms & side-effects.

These facts were well understood amongst the medical community, circa 1970. An excellent representation of the thinking at the time can be found in the text-book: 'The Clinical Significance of the Essential Biological Metals'.

Sadly, this work was shelved by the mainstream, largely in favour of the much more lucrative approach, of producing drugs to treat the symptoms of a population who remain, for the most part, perpetually ill.

Unpopular opinion:

The mRNA vaccine platform has the potential to be an incredible breakthrough in fighting disease. Done correctly, it would tell your body to use its own natural immunity to produce resistance to infection agents, and would cause no damage to the body.

Its really kind of amazing when you get into the science of it.

The problem is not mRNA. The problem is Pfizer. To put it plainly, they are.... evil.

What is being discovered now, is that the side effects are likely the result of the manufacturing process. Or more specifically, it looks like Pfizer used a different manufacturing process for the mass distributed vaccines than it used for its submitted test vaccines. And hid it.

All over the world now, different researchers are discovering plasma dna contamination in the vaccines. The current hypothesis for why this is present is:

Pfizer used bacteria as a rapid growth medium for the dna used to produce the rna. In the test vaccines they took care to remove the residual plasma dna from the process. But in mass production, they let that slide. And as a result, sent out large batches of vaccine with varying levels of residual plasma dna contamination. The side effects of that will vary widely. But in some cases, its likely some people have had their dna altered. That genomic change would be permanent, and hereditary.

Additionally there is strong evidence they used e-coli in the bacterial process because of its rapid reproduction. The membranes of the bacteria used to produce the dna which is used for rna production, is an endotoxin, and results in massive levels of inflammation in the body if not removed after the vaccine production process. It looks like Pfizer also cut corners here.

Basically, it looks like Pfizer hid the fact that their vaccine mass production process was different from their test vaccine process, and cut corners on mass production process, resulting in vaccine batches filled with potentially dna altering material, and endotoxins which produce massive inflammation.

This would be consistent with many of the strange side effects seen all over the world.

So. While the mRNA platform seems to have a great deal of potential, seems like Pfizer is not the company to do it. Besides..their entire corporate board should be in prison.

Stop filthing the bodies up with xenobiotics & toxic metals, and the immune system will handle most insults on it's own. No proprietary interference necessary.

I haven't tried out all the available apps, but so far Primal has been my best Nostr experience. Some of us like to run older hardware, and so a universal web based experience that doesn't insist on the latest mobile OS is essential to fully support the eco system.

If they've managed to make it work, well and good.

Lightning was just one example of a limitation pruned nodes may face. Another would be trying to build something like a block explorer.. or any other application that relies on querying transaction history.

In most cases I understand that the primary bottleneck to bootstrapping a node is the TX verification.

IBD would happen much quicker if validation could be skipped, in favour of instantiating a specified UTXO set.

If we skip downloading the blockchain data altogether, we would only be able to operate as a pruned node. Pruned nodes lack a lot of functionality, like the ability to robustly support a Lightning node, running on top.

If assumeUTXO lets you get a functional node up and running, while the IBD takes place in the background, that's a good step in the right direction.

If the provision of a UTXO set could in some way negate the necessity for validation, as part of the IBD, that would be even better....

Many socialist types value the ability to take from one subset of the population, forcefully, and give to another subset.

Bitcoin's fundamental raison d'etre is to strictly prohibit the possibility of such behaviour.

It is the digital manifestation of property rights.

Property rights are not held as a universal value. There are plenty of individuals & groups who would see an end to them by tomorrow. Think 'own nothing & be happy' ...

Any suggestions for a portable NVME hard drive?

Looking at Crucial X8/X9 currently..

Is the hardware level disk encryption trustworthy?

How about lifespan and device reliability, in general?

It's common to experience flu like symptoms when you first start drinking raw milk. The beneficial yeast and bacteria go to war with pathogenic microorganisms that are already inhabiting your gut. The key is to introduce it slowly to minimise symptoms.

If your raw milk is coming from a reputable source, and all of the other people who are drinking it aren't getting ill, i'd wager the milk is fine...

Have you been consuming it from the same source for some time? Is the source reputable ?

Using primal, here. No problems & excellent experience..
