made me laugh dude. that's exactly what I do.
kind of makes you realise what the function of the news is, when you first try changing station... and you realise they're all pumping out the narrative, in unison...
you either get your daily dose, unable to flip away, or turn the whole thing off altogether...
imagine no longer being able to call yourself a whole coiner... because you had to shell out for a fortress....

First time listening and thought it was great. Like hanging out with some friends, who are also tech literate. Looking forward to the next one.
did you have to upgrade to the premium version, to get access to image generation?
By the year 2030, we'll all be asking, "What's the b̶e̶e̶f̶ hybridized soy-protein?"
Farmers in the EU really kicking off. Lots of unedited footage on YouTube now. Check it out before it’s removed.

It will be interesting to see if any pressure is brought to bare on the likes of John Deere, to utilise the remote tracking/control systems, that are now baked in to most of these modern tractors...
Could wind up being the agricultural equivilant of Trudeau's trucker banking blockade...
Now we need to help them understand that the reason Bitcoin has value is due primarily to it's ability to enforce a set of rules in a decentralised manner.
This is only possible because a large number of ordinary people are able to run self validating nodes.
Using the Bitcoin blockchain as a storage mechanism for arbitrary data, such as JPEGS, massively bloats the UTXO set, and rapidly increases the system resources required to run a node.
(This is exactly what we have seen play out over the course of the last 12 months, since Ordinals/BRC20 tokens have been around).
The more people continue to dump arbitrary data onto the blockchain, the more they hurt Bitcoins decentralisation and censorship resistence, by rapidly driving up the cost of running a self hosted node.
Miners are responsible for mining the transactions, but it is the node runners who enforce the consensus rules.
We fought a drawn out blocksize war over this same issue several years ago. Lets not forget why.
It's time to recall and revisit first principles.

any chance there's video coverage for any of this?
I usually stream one or two court cases per year.
This one seems like a worthy candidate.
imagine having to go home with that....

if [your worst enemy] used Bitcoin to transact with [your worst nightmare], it's highly likely you wouldn't even notice, nor would you care.
Putting this 💩 on the blockchain, however, has a remarkable ability to degrade service for and upset a substantial subset of users...
Something to think about...

I've heard a few interesting and opposite takes. Some proposing that the State is gathering info, from the perspective of entering the space themselves... others suggesting that it's unconstitutional (4th amendment?) for the State to be targeting a specific industry on the grounds of energy consumption, and miners should ignore the letters, seek legal council, and contest the privacy invasion...
Either way it seems like we'll want to have our popcorn ready...
