I feel like we're living in this comic:

The crashing airplane is the value of the US dollar.
The derailed train is the treasury market.
The shifting tectonic plates are the rising wars.
The gas leak is the coming ETF.
Farmer Brown's house is the fiat system.
Farmer Brown is everyone still in that system.
(...or something like that...)
Seriously, God help the Farmer Browns of the world. ๐
Happy birthday! ๐
Inspired by Tuttle Twins's cakes and pies episode, I asked nostr:npub1tayp5jjjfqx4ufukxqamsl28wd5pggvteqe6u9n3svjn62lfr0hsp89l42 and ChatGPT whether they prefer cakes or pies.
Personally, I prefer cakes, but that has nothing to do with why I prefer Satoshi's response. ๐คญ

The meaning of "high time preference" in a single picture:

nostr:npub1gdu7w6l6w65qhrdeaf6eyywepwe7v7ezqtugsrxy7hl7ypjsvxksd76nak
That's not yield. That's receiving compensation for providing a service to others.
Yield is the rewards of a Proof of Stake system, built entirely out of rent seekers who want to drain wealth from everyone else like leeches.
Same. I used to cheer for a swift and catastrophic collapse, so the globalists could be destroyed, and yes, so my stack of sats could buy more. But then I realized that's high time preference thinking, and really just unfeeling and dehumanizing.
Eventual collapse is inevitable. But bitcoiners aren't the ones trying to hasten the collapse; we're the ones holding up the walls and ceiling to give everyone else as much time as possible to escape before fiat's unavoidable demise.
And it literally does affect me: knowingly giving credence to lies corrodes my soul.
I feel awkward asking this, but has anyone ever pointed out the similarity...?

Still the best #Bitcoin meme ever. It's only topped by nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev's video version.
I asked my wife and kids for suggestions. Here they are, in no particular order:
- The Bronze Bow
- Tuttle Twins
- The Oddmire series
- Fablehaven series
- Beyonders series (read before The Five Kingdoms)
- The Five Kingdoms series (read after Beyonders)
- Redwall
- The Giver
- The Mysterious Benedict Society
- Harper
- The Phantom Tollbooth
- Wondla series
- Where the Red Fern Grows
- Pollyanna
- The "Awesome Austen" books (slightly simplified versions of Jane Austen's books)
I hope that's enough to get you started! ๐
Palindrome block! ๐

Definitely The Chosen. ๐
100% crowd funded, free to watch, and just plain awesome!
It comes with its own app, or you can watch it through the Angel app, or just on the website.๐
You may have heard of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. What fewer people know about is the 8th Habit, which the author, Stephen R. Covey, added later in it's own book:
"Find your voice, and help others find theirs."

Nah. That's mainly those who have given up on their ๐ฉcoin for bitcoin, but are still ๐ฉcoiners at heart.
"...where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
2 Corinthians 3:17
I second that. I'll follow you on Rumble, nostr:npub1hu3hdctm5nkzd8gslnyedfr5ddz3z547jqcl5j88g4fame2jd08qh6h8nh and nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u, if you start posting there, too! ๐
Seems like a good time to share this...
