Wait...the Food Pyramid only started being a thing in 1992? ๐ณ I was 7 years old then, and I remember thinking at the time that the Food Pyramid was as old as dirt, and common knowledge to anyone with any sense.
But I was also going to public school, watching Saturday morning cartoons, eating sugary cereals every morning, and was fully up-to-date on all my vaccinations. So my brain (what was left of it) was ready and willing to receive whatever propaganda that was thrown at it.
It's a miracle I even survived.
Not yet, but I'm working on that now.
