Didn't realize I posted this as the zapathon started, so boosting to see if anyone has any experience.
We're trying to decide between buying one or building one. I'm kind of leaning towards building one and sharing it to help empower others to take on projects like it.
One of our comfrey roots cuttings decided that it was going to try to grow from the side that was placed down so when I transfered it to the garden bed I flipped it and now it's growing kind of funny!

Creating our garden beds here in the high desert, we're taking some ideas from the Hopi and permaculture for capturing water during monsoon season and the occasional spring rain.
We're digging down similar to Hopi sunken garden beds but since we have a slight slope in our garden area we're also adding a burm on the down slope side with a cut to the next garden bed to direct the water into the next bed.
These are the first two beds, the burm needs to be built up some more.

Anyone used a bio-digester? We're thinking of putting one in on our homestead, just curious if anyone has experience with one.
It says it's for animals but looking at everything listed in the ingredients they are all herbs that work for humans as well. The only thing I see people taking Pause over would be colloidal silver. But I would encourage you to do some research if interested.
Long night last night, our Border Collie Aussie mix was up about once an hour with an upset stomach and vomiting. We gave him this twice and he's back to eating and running around this morning.
We've had to take him to the emergency vet a couple of times in the past for vomiting and not eating. So this has been an amazing find for his stomach and our pockets. We've had to use it with him about five times and once with our lab. I'll never be without it for our boys.

Woohoo! This is our first time with asparagus. I actually thought they were native grasses that were popping up from the soil I mixed in my seed starting mix until I looked closer!
I don't know why but tiny asparagus are too cute!
Had a headache all day so my loving husband decided to bbq some chicken and it's so good.

Great thinking, doesn't seem to be any different the sticking the glass jar in a pot as a "double broiler". Might try this with my instant pot at some point.
