Of the other social media I use that is algo drive , I’m noticing they’re all getting progressively worse. Like, really bad. Especially YouTube.
Ohh interesting! I’ll give that a try
Haha that works too. I find thighs super forgiving in final temp.
Cook to temp, not time. You want to get to 170-175 degrees on thighs most times. I do relatively high heat, but medium is good too.
The standoff between Trump and the Fed is becoming increasingly more interesting. They both seem pretty dug in.
The fun part is, we all get to suffer while they fight about it 🫠
I wish more people saw it this way. The emphasis on speed in most companies today is so strong, it’s genuinely baffling.
Humans are gullible
It turns out, things that take effort are valuable to people. Who knew?
I love non binary thinking :D
We can only hope we find a way to unleash productivity and innovation in America again.
Wow, Jumble is way cool. Glad you mentioned it.
Very, very interesting. I dont know what to believe about China tbh. I have heard things like what you're saying in that they are far ahead of us, but I've also heard their economy is on the verge of epic collapse. Maybe both are true, but it's hard to know for sure.
Interesting... why do you think that? I think the general point of view is they have to go hand in hand. Do you think any country can be both?
Ya, I mean both things can be true. But, taking the surveillance out of it, I wouldn't trust chinese software (or anyone else's) to be reliable enough to keep all these fancy bells and whistles working.
That said, I don't understand why we can't have EVs that have an engine to charge/expand range. That just seems like a no brainer to me.
On the other side of the coin, I wish the US could also have dead simple vehicles that are affordable and reliable. We're getting the shit end of the deal both ways.
All I see is a ton of shit that can and will break plus a surveillance nightmare...
Nearly every one of my friends in the tech industry are completely fed up with the company they work for. Since interest rates started going up, execs have been demanding more and more, with far less.
We're all burnt out, pissed off, and just over it.
The era of free money is over, and now execs are realizing their VC dreams are dying, so they're pushing harder than ever. They try to find various scapegoats to justify a lot of their awful decision making. It's always "GO FASTER!", not realizing that speed isn't everything.
Fiat games are the worst...
I dont give interest free loans to the govt...
Businesses dont give a shit about code being high quality, secure, or reliable. They only care that it works just well enough for them to collect a check.
The idea that every system must scale to millions of people is so fiat.
Some things are just better at a smaller size.
