You're one of the worst offenders, on here, to be honest. Never seen someone so earnestly spout such a never-ending stream of hysterical, vapid bullshit.
You never stopped drinking the kool-aid, you just switched to a different flavor.
Did you just put something in quotation marks that isn't a quote?
I simply pay. I pay for numerous subscriptions, including to smaller sources. Mostly in German, but not only.
Free stuff tends to not be very good, but that isn't my problem.
I agree. Spin and propaganda are also information that sends a signal.
It tells you a lot about their strategy and goals.
You made up an argument that I never made and then countered it.
Researching the Russian gold thing that easily consumed 7 hours of my time. It took that long to find anything verifiable.
All websites are full of SEO optimized headlines and political agendas. That's how Internet communication works.
Your best bet is to search for information on particular topics in all languages you can understand and then read through the results. (You'll quickly see that there aren't actually that many sources, as most websites refer to or summarize other websites, so it can take a while to get to the original source.)
Takes me a few hours, for each topic. That's why I tend to post in batches, as I have to set aside a large block of time for this research.
I'm not critiquing her. I meant that it looks to me, like the (pointless) leak from her agency was done, so that she could counter it with her tweet.
He's also waxed romantic about the old empires and stuff, tho. He sends mixed signals.
That said, the Kremlin has said she is correct.
Please note that the she says that the EU and NATO are wrong, to say that Russia _would like to_ conquer all of Ukraine and maybe even move West from there, because Russia _is incapable of_ actually doing so.
The Kremlin has now vehemently denied, in response, that they want to conquer all of Ukraine, and definitely not NATO countries. They just want the occupied territories and it's Ukraine being stubborn, that is holding up peace talk. Ukraine says the Russians are being stubborn. Both praise the USA and talks continue. Berlin and Miami are over. Next stop Moscow.
I'm assuming finger-pointing and blame-passing and public whining are actually good signal, as everyone wants to enter direct talks looking like The Reasonable One.
Yeah, I just saw that. Would probably save me some time. I go from website to website, manually, or try to find related articles with search engines.
That's the first thing I've heard on the topic that made any sort of sense.
I knew the low oil price was hurting Russia, but I forgot that the top-3 oil exporters are Saudi Arabia, Russia.... and the USA.
Yeah, you usually can't see it, yourself, but everyone can at least retain an air of scepticism. Don't stop drinking one side's kool-aid, just to start drinking the other side's kool-aid.
And assume that there can be surprises or external factors that rapidly change the trajectory of things you were certain to be true.
I'm not sure which news sources you have, but they aren't very balanced.
The people on here are so anti-legacy media, that they all switched over to media that errs in the opposite direction, and therefore remain poorly informed.
If you see or hear some news, put in some more effort to make sure it is confirmable, before allowing it to affect your worldview. If the news makes you happy and reassures you that _nothing has changed_ then work extra-hard to confirm it, as that is a sign that it is mere propaganda.
You see me posting news that reflects poorly on Germany and the EU, and the same for both the Republicans and the Democrats, and the same for Ukraine and Russia, as well as news that reflects well on them, because I am willing to entertain the idea that:
* Nobody is always right.
* Nobody is always wrong.
* Nobody is perfectly good.
* Nobody is perfectly evil.
* Things are constantly influx.
* The world is full of surprises, and the occasional miracle.
Life is complicated. News, also.
I am sorry that your podcast people are so badly informed.
Most Ukrainian men have not been to the front. No young men have been conscripted. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Ukraine isn't panicking because they don't see any reason to panic.
The too long; didn't watch:
Russia started out strong and has gotten weaker.
Ukraine started out weak and has gotten stronger.
The longer Ukraine can drag it out, the bigger their changes of winning.
Ukraine hasn't yet conscripted anyone in the primary age.
Okay, that makes a lot of sense. 🤔
Yeah, I just wear thinner wool. I even have some tank-tops that are merino wool mixed with silk and they are incredibly fine and light. I wear them as undershirts in the winter and as tops in the summer.
The prices are very high, of course, but you only need 2 or 3, and I've worn them for over a decade. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Did you know that fire men wear merino wool because it doesn't catch fire until 570°C? That's amazing.
The modern merinos are amazing, tho.
Remember, wool (and leather) are meant to be worn by animals, so they don't stink when you sweat.
Just wear wool all year.
Always perfect temperature, always looks good, and you'll hardly have to wash clothes.

And, in that case, they would end up with neither, as everything would just be a lifeless radiation-poisoned desert.
This is always the problem with nuclear weapons. It's impossible to use them without losing.
I nearly got fired from my job in 2015, for complaining about her. She never improved. I never stopped complaining.
The moved me to a project team that had someone else who complained about her. The naughty corner. LOL It was, predictably, the best team.
i guess we'd need to ask the man himself then. nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqyehwumn8ghj7mnhvvh8qunfd4skctnwv46z7ctewe4xcetfd3khsvrpdsmk5vnsw96rydr3v4jrz73hvyu8xqpqsg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q8dzj6n what are the requirements? what would need to be done to make this bounty finally fulfilled? take a look when time permits and see if this project meets them.
The bounty has done a poor job of incentivizing work on this goal.
OpenSats paid Dan to build his project. Everyone else was left to help him (like we did) for no pay, or to build a knock-off edition that basically does the same thing, but in blue, and hope to also get an OpenSats grant.
We were initially going for the same solution, but now we're building the opposite, to solve the underlying problem of needing to login with email and a password, and to sign commits with GPG keys. But, he never explicitly said that he wanted to solve for that. The bounty specified GitHub, which is a social website for devs. We have a bunch of those, now.
