Made me chuckle plus a little more.
One year ago today, I started NostrPlebs.com. I'm not going to go into all of the details as I've talked about this numerous times over the last year and most of you all know this story as well as I do. Therefore, I will keep this very short.
1) I would never have been able to do accomplish my goals without the help of nostr:npub12262qa4uhw7u8gdwlgmntqtv7aye8vdcmvszkqwgs0zchel6mz7s6cgrkj who wrote the registration and management application side of things about a week after I launched. Thank you Semi.
2) A very special thank you to nostr:npub1rq9x6sk86e8ccw2cm8gsm4dyz9l24t823elespupaxjnzdk026fsca2r93 <3 She was the very first person to offer to pay me in sats for setting her up with a Nostr address. She inspired me to do more than just offer a Nostr address to a few close friends.
3) NostrPlebs.com would not be the success that it is, without the support of all of our customers and friends over the past year. Thank you for all of your support that helped us grow. We registered nearly 6,000 Nostr addresses over the past year. I still can't believe that.
One year down, a lifetime of impact to come for https://NostrPlebs.com. This anniversary is just the beginning!
I understand VERY little of how all of y'all make all this work, I just showed up a year ago because there was the hope of an indelible and uncensorable record of all the important and inane things going on amongst us.
A year later I appreciate it all the more!

Not yet, I was hoping Perplexity might be it, but as I noted the add-in changes the start up and disables 'continue where I left off'. I HAVE to be able to close and then continue where I left off the next day.
I'll keep looking, but likely just keep using presearch till I find something I like better.

My take away: If we eat so many of the same END PRODUCTS that people have eaten for years and people who ate those end products in the 70s were thin and healthy, but the people who eat those end products now are fat and unhealthy, maybe the INGREADIENTS in those end products? What are those new ingredients? Seed Oils. Soy. Corn syrup. What else?

I just don't like ad integration, also tried to use the AI option since I have 1100 of their coin to stake or whatever they require, but couldn't find any way to activate it... Mostly I just don't like being advertised to, so if I can find something that works without ads, I'd rather.
Well, didn't take long for 'perplexity' to become DAMNED tiresome too...
Installed the 'chrome default search engine' plugin last night, which seemed to work fairly well... Started up my browser this morning, and not only did it make itself the default search and 'new tab page', (which I wanted), but DISABLED without notice the 'continue where I left off' option, so this morning rather than the 90 tabs I was working on yesterday I got the perplexity page and nothing else.
So yea, making me waste forty minutes of my morning tracking down what I was working on and rebuilding my 'tab groups' has got me a bit pissed at 'perplexity'...
Hmmm, presearch has gotten a bit tiresome lately so I will definitely check them out!
