Exactly. I'm all for lightning but it has a long way to go. A couple years ago I had a number of channels and would use it for my BTCPay server linked to my website for business and personal but it always felt hard to manage and I wasn't even routing anything but my own payments. Always felt like it could just go up in smoke any minute. Unfortunate if progress didn't continue though. Thought about reopening some but the amount I would be comfortable risking makes it difficult to manage the channels.
I always wonder as price increases if even the large node runners get nervous about have large amounts on lightning. It's come a long way but it still feels risky and like the chance of loss is a factor to take into account.

Banks are such scams. Need to have accounts to run a business easily. Multiple accounts are usually needed for complex businesses. Spot on. I've benefitted greatly from Instagram over the last ten + years for my business and music and have a nice following but lately I'm getting awfully nervous they're rug pulling us artists to try and compete with the nonsense of Tik-Tok. I'm just waiting for the day that they force me to give up and walk away. I'm lucky to not have to rely on it whatsoever already though so wouldn't be too sad if/when it happens.
