The ongoing trend of China purchasing impaired Nvidia cards to bolster AI model training raises concerns about potential corruption. This behavior implies a willingness to flout fair competition standards or sidestep regulations, prioritizing technological advancement over ethical practices. Such actions can undermine trust in the global marketplace and hint at a broader culture of corruption that might exist within certain sectors or industries in China. Transparency and adherence to international norms are crucial to maintaining a level playing field and fostering collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence.

Sounds like another privacy invading attempt. One reason people diversify into real estate is because it is one of the few areas that has tax advantages, and you can layer your privacy and security. Most real estate investors are not "corrupt oligarchs, terrorists and other criminals to hide ill-gotten gains."

That is the same logic that government uses when they say "bitcoin is used by terrorists and money launderers."

AI is still just a tool. The smart folks will use it as such. It is unfortunate that the genie is out of the bottle though and it has gotten out of people's control.

I'm up for discussing #realestate. Here's a bit of what I do: https://deltacharlie.tech/45736

Maximalism of most sorts is not a good thing. A diversified portfolio is generally sound advice. By that I mean, actual assets like businesses, real estate, etc. and I think most people should take all their dollars out of the "market."

What features would you like to see in a landlord specific lightning wallet that is not available on the wallets that are out there now?

Nostr has a growing ecosystem of apps and micro-services, but unless you've been around nostr for a while, you may not be aware that these even exist.

nostr:npub1t3ggcd843pnwcu6p4tcsesd02t5jx2aelpvusypu5hk0925nhauqjjl5g4 and I were discussing this earlier and feel that it's up to all of us to help new users discover that nostr is more than just social. It's up to us to help promote these other use cases.

It may be helpful for app and micro-service discovery for larger clients such as Primal, Amethyst, Damus, Snort, Iris, etc. to showcase them in a new area of their client simply called 'App Directory'. This new section of your app would showcase popular services that compliment your client and enhance your user's experience. Coracle already does this. Thanks nostr:npub1jlrs53pkdfjnts29kveljul2sm0actt6n8dxrrzqcersttvcuv3qdjynqn 💜

For example, maybe you'd include:

Nostr.kiwi for communities

Listr for list management

Highlighter for note taking and highlights

Habla for long from blog writing

Pinstr for list, note, and content management

Zap.stream for live video streams

Nostr Nests for live audio streams

Nostrchat.io for a better chatting experience

Stemstr for music creation and collaboration

Wavlake for music discovery and publishing

and more...

It's up to you to pick which apps you feel complement your client the most.

Maybe even just include https://nostrapps.com or https://nostrapp.link

Thank you!

Can nostr integrate with fountain.fm or any other podcasting tools yet?

Sounds like a maximalist that does not want a diverse portfolio. I understand this is a parody, and very cleverly done. Hopefully one does not take this seriously though. There is so much crossover with the metal world and the bitcoin world, that there is room enough for both groups to play in the sandbox. We are both fighting against the same thing: dishonest money.

In a fight, sometimes you have to punch, sometimes you have to kick. Better to know how to both punch and kick...and have some other skills too.

@mcshane

I prefer to think of it as exchanging, like exchanging currencies when traveling to other countries. Frequent travelers usually carry multiple currencies. If you imagine the Internet like a country, then bitcoin is the currency of that virtual country.

We will eventually have to straddle multiple currencies. Like a traveler who explores different countries, we have to learn the culture and currency of that country. Imagine the Internet like a country, and bitcoin is the currency of that country.

I wrote an article commenting on some of these exact things, and was ironically censored. The article was for a hacker magazine that used to be about the tech, now has gotten overly political. Check it out: https://deltacharlie.tech/45890

nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev I recently wrote an article covering much of the economic topics that are plaguing the world today, both virtual and real. It was for 2600 magazine, but was heavily censored. You can find the uncensored version here: https://deltacharlie.tech/45890

The synopsis is taking a holistic approach to problems, rather than focusing on trendy, "social just warrior" nonsense that Karen talks about.

For me, that is money. If the economy is like the human body, the money is the blood, traveling throughout the body, carrying life. Right now, the blood is contaminated.

A very noble gesture. I have served in the military industrial complex myself, and when entering VA facilities, I curiously wonder the musings of older Veterans with current generations. Do you think firefighters have a similar stance on current generations?
