How about this?
Reticulum works bottom up and is focused on the protocol enabling you to emulate any network, even TCP-IP.
Meshtastic works top down, and focuses on the functionality. It primarily uses devices to relay messages.
LoRa mesh routing is so going down the route of Internet routing in the 1980's, it's spooky!

My wife, who is a podiatrist and very dextrous, assembled them for me π
I ran nodes for both SIGFOX and TTN until 2016, during the 5 or so years of running them, I never saw a device or any other base station.
I might have been too early.
Meshtastic may be the answer.
You asked, I gave, now you moan? π π π

I'll be building a repeater node and putting it in my loft with a decent aerial in the next few weeks.
The great thing about meshtastic is, as the name suggests, it operates as a mesh so devices (both input and repeater) will repeat a signal to help it get to its destination.
You can choose weather to repeat messages between 0 - 7 times)
Houston, we have a Meshtastic network.
Iβm in the countryside so Iβm not seeing any other nodes, but Iβll do a drive around later this week.

What cruise line would you recommend for Mediterranean cruises? We're considering doing one next summer for our 20th wedding anniversary. Thanks!

#Nostruise π
Thatβs a very open question, so Iβm just going to give some options.
We very much enjoyed our recent Celebrity cruise, they have the best food of any ship weβve been on.
Princess is the best allrounder, we loved doing a transatlantic with Regal Princess.
MSC have the most glamorous ships, but weβve been disappointed with the food.
Norwegian are modern Scandinavian chic, they have some great ships.
Cunard is classic upper class British luxury if that appeals.
If you wish to push the boat out π
Consider something like Silverline, Emerald or Ritz Carlton which are smaller more luxurious ships. We generally donβt do these because they tend not to have theatres on board and have limited choice for food and drink, but a lot of people like the higher crew to guest ratios meaning the service is at a different level.
Star Clippers would be really special they have tall sail ships, a very different experience.

The last time I was in Switzerland, I flew home on September 11th 2001.
Yes that day.
My friend and I were visiting another friend who'd recently moved to Zurich, he was working that day so we were staying in his apartment killing time till our flight. We turned on the TV with the sound off and saw what we thought was a re-run of "Towering Inferno". I'm not a big fan of the film so we switched channels to see Captain Pugwash on the children's channel.
When we switch back, we realise it isn't a film and start to understand what is really happening. We catch live one of the planes hitting the towers, we are in shock.
Later, we arrive at the airport to the most deathly quiet terminal I have ever encountered in my life, we see a line of passengers queuing at the American Airlines desk complaining about the service and exclaiming they'll never fly AA again. They don't know.
We catch our flight home, but it's the most quiet airplane I've ever been on in my life.
Driving back through the city of London, we pass Docklands with it's gleaming towers, slightly nervous as to what might happen.
When I arrive home my landline answerphone, is full of messages from a friend who's parents is holidaying with my parents in the U.S. I'd totally forgotten and so call her back.
My parents had to extend their holiday to the US as no flights left America for several days.
