I keep coming across youtubers who are recovering from a recent bout with cancer or who have "long covid" (NPC language for vax injuries) and it really sucks... even worse is that I haven't heard one of them address the most likely cause. Idk if that's because they don't want to admit it to themselves, or they just don't want to be demonetized. Should I disable the browser apk install protection? I assume if the app itself prompted me then the apk probably isn't malicious...?

I think this happened once before & it eventually worked itself out, but I would love to know the cause, or if there is a solution...?
