Out of curiostity what would the amendment be that you want to see added?
Term limits were mentioned, but I actually think that would have the opposite of the desired effect & create even more of a tragedy of the commons sort of problem. People just getting in to take as much as possible before they're out. And even more power would just be handed over to the permanent unelected bureaucracy.
Getting people on board with bitcoin is in the individual's best interest & it naturally snowballs in our favor.
Working for some sort of constitutional change (as if the federal govt gives 2 shits about obeying the constitution anyway) will most likely just be a tremendous waste of time & energy & reources, to fight against all the natural govt incentives, for something that will be effectively undone or otherwise made meaningless by default in just a matter of months or years after it is achieved.
You can't fight criminals via the channels they set up for you to fight them.
I have been there for a long time, but I am also not completely sure how accurate it really is. I know all the arguments, and I haven't voted because I don't want any sort of responsibility for any of the shit these people do. But at the same time, if one tyrant wants to whip everyone 10 times a day & the other wants to just whip us 2 times a day, I don't see what harm there is in saying I'd prefer ro be whipped less while still working to undermine the whole thing.
It seems like the only real risk is in thinking that politics is some sort of answer to the problems & just waiting for someone to save us instead of working to save ourselves.
So what does that look like?
Idk, I think being on the recieving end of these rather constant social attacks makes us stronger & more aware of who we really are, while the rest become soft & actually completely lose who they are without the context & support of their social group. It's like an anti-fragility thing. I don't think playing the collectivist game really makes us stronger.
I think tools for better coordination are critically important (bitcoin, nostr, keet, etc) & the others mostly just trade genuine coordination for mindless following & group think. One is empowering & the other is disempowering. You can be destructive with mindless collectivism & that can appear powerful in a way, but it really isn't. Real power is productive.
I think there should be some distinction between being grateful or having appreciation for things we are given or for the people who came before us, & things like actual achievements that we might take pride in.
Words are messy tho.
But it's similar to when people say "we won" after they watch sports... All I can think is mf you didn't do or win anything.
When it becomes socially acceptable to take pride in things that you had nothing to do with, lots of really sad & ineffectual people pump themselves up with weak associations to stuff outside of themselves & then become tyrants... See the woke movement.
It's always good to enjoy life & appreciate all that is.

There is no transitioning. There never will be. You cannot make a man into a fertile woman, you can not make a woman into a fertile man. You can only physically mutilate & chemically castrate people.
