There are also now 6 relay usage settings: inbox (an advertised read), read (an unadvertised read), outbox (an advertised write), write (an unadvertised write, e.g. for archival), advertise, and discovery (finding relay lists). Also the "Relays> Live" page lists the reasons that each relay is connected, and reasons in square brackets are 'persistent' meaning that if the relay disconnects it will try to reconnect and restart that subscription after a delay.

There may be some outstanding issues around theming. I think you can't post a message larger than the window size right now. But let us know if something is holding you back.

What is the goal? It doesn't make the code safer. The AES key it is encrypted under is sitting in memory exposed. And the original private key wasn't zeroed anyways.

Best practice is to read a passphrase from the user, decrypt an encrypted key, and hold in memory... but zero the passphrase right after using it, and zero the decrypted key before the program exits. If the program crashes, oops, it could leak. But the program must have the key, so that is the best that you can do without e.g. a hardware device or a remote signer of some kind.

I put in a hate speech submission. There was a bill to make 3rd party liability insurance compulsary. I put in a submission against, but only because (as I recommended) alternate forms of demonstrating capability to pay should be made available like being bonded. I made the argument that Muslims consider insurance a form of gambling and therefore a sin, so these alternate forms should be made available to them. I made the financial argument that companies with large fleets of vehicles save a lot of money overseas by being bonded instead of insured and this would help our economy.

The bill did not pass, there were no modifications toward my recommendation. Today there still is no requirement.
