Looks good. I'll be eating a smoked salmon and creamed cheese omelet for lunch today. I'm keto, so I don't do any grains. The omelet is fantastic, though.

They were even seen as low as Texas, Arizona, and Arkansas. Based on how faint they were for me. Camera showed them well, but hard to see with our eyes, it must have been faint indeed in those low lattitude areas, but there are photos of them reaching that low.

My eldest for 15 years. My special needs son, only for 2 years and during covid (my try out).

I was homeschooling my son today. We were reading his science & reading book today. The book, "Nonfiction Reading Comprehension Science Grade 3" said, "Scientists learn things by asking questions."

This made me think. Over the past 3 years, we are constantly told to trust the science, but these people will not allow anyone to question the narrative. If "scientists learn things by asking questions" then they aren't scientists and/or they aren't learning anything. Science isn't science if you aren't allowed to question it and continue seeking the whole truth. Even in 3rd grade that is obvious.

We got a 3D printer for my tech savvy son (programmer). We failed to ever get it working right, so I can't give any advice. I'm still hoping to figure the thing out. I have one friend who has experience using several different models. I think I need to invite the family over for dinner and see if I can get some help.

When I was in school. I hated history. It was taught through memorizing names and dates, both of which I am terrible. I did have one good history teacher who brought American History Alive. One thing he did, probably to allow himself to cover both sides of some divisive subjects like evolution/creation and abortion, was to have trials. One student was assigned as judge. Three students were assigned to be lawyers for the 2 sides. The rest of the class were the jury. The lawyers had to research and stand up and debate the issue. I learned more in that history class than in all of the others combined. We can learn so much from history.

Officially I am not in zone 3, but because of our cold winters (last winter we got down to -35.6 F) and really high winds (60+ mph multiple times during winter and we don't know what to do when it goes below 20 mph), so I have to buy zone 3 plants to have them survive multiple years and have them thrive. #Wyoming #coldclimate

I'm far from an expert at identifying plants, but it looks a bit like a black currant to me. My currants aren't leafing out yet, so I can't look at them to verify. Somebody else might know better.

I used to have weak ankles and have had several ankle injuries over the years. I'm also in my 50s and thinking about getting older where falls are common. I've started doing several ankle exercises that have progressed, so they are getting much stronger and less likely to get achy.

I started with just standing with my feet about shoulder width apart and lifting up onto my toes, and slowly lower. As I got stronger I'd hold up on my toes for a couple of seconds before slowly lowering. In the beginning I was holding on, but now I do it without holding on, so I am working on balance and core strength. I generally hold my hands out kind of like a ballerina. It helps with balance and works out my arms a bit. Over time I have done more and more lifts.

I also started out stretching my legs by putting them up on the wall to stretch because I was getting very stiff compared to my youth. Then I started holding my leg up for 15, 20, 25, 30 seconds. Now I balance on one leg with my other leg held above waist high, which strengthens my raised leg, my lower ankle/leg, builds core strength, and builds balance. It has helped my a lot.

Now I don't have to worry as much about turning my ankle or falling. It doesn't take more than about 5 minutes to do.

The end game must be nearing because they are now frequently saying the quiet part out loud.

They helped with my special needs son. My other son has been a voracious reader since kindergarten and was reading at the college level in 2nd grade, but I struggled to get my younger son to read. He is enjoying it more and more even if it is much more difficult for him. At 16 he reads like my other son at the beginning of Kindergarten.
