The fact that self-custodial Lightning wallets must be open as your main mobile application in order to be online and send/receive payments makes it very difficult to send between two of your own wallets!
I think Phoenix partially solved this, where the incoming payment will register and send a push notification so you can return to the app and receive it. But I’m sure this comes with some tradeoff, either in privacy or self-custody…
But anyway this would be really cool if someone with far more knowledge than me were able to solve.

Yep, it's MUCH harder to brute force passphrases on a Bitcoin seed than it is to brute force a KeePass passphrase. Each attempt requires a blockchain scan!

America does not have a democracy, it has a consensus structure. Yet American politicians sell the idea of "US democracy" like it's worth fighting to defend. Democracy is worse than consensus! But we changed the meaning of democracy anyway to support wars, stoke divides, etc.

It implies that *somehow* during the period the US was engaged there, the land use & production went from basically 0 to over 330k hectares. In the period since the US withdrew, 95% of that production disappeared.

This is what happens when a country deliberately abandons it's moral compass and principles in favor of the "story of the day," and propagates that behavior for decades throughout all corners of society (media, education, academia).
So called trusted leaders run around like headless chickens trying to figure out what to think about events that should have no moral ambiguity as they unfold.
There's practically no difference for this case, and Shamir doesn't support tinelocks for other uses like inheritance, or other advanced scripting features like decaying multisig quorums. Also, in the world we're trying to get to, where everyone ideally controls a personal private seed (and BIP85 child seeds), why bother sending them a shard of a single key in addition?
Just like Netflix Disney etc. lost to torrents 🤣. Tools are great for freedom, but mass education is the only way to make the incumbents lose in the long run. Sometimes, the centralized platforms Bud Light themselves though, which is always fun to watch 😉
