Most Americans should skip breakfast. Eat big dinners and it's easy!
I eat "breakfast" at 6 PM all the time, and sometimes it looks just like that picture!
#privacytechpro tip: if you experience crashes tagging someone on #amethyst using #grapheneos stock keyboard or #florisboard, use another keyboard. i recommend #unexpected keyboard. it's my fav.
#cybersecgirl #amethyst #unexpectedkeyboard
I'm not a fan of Unexpected for it's lack of word completion. Very impressive keyboard, and I do love it, but that's a dealbreaker for me.
Maybe I just nees to type mkre accurately! 🤣
I like it but I don't think it scans packages the way f-droid does. Still, I use it for bleeding edge apps or apps I trust. It is slick, and frankly I don't distrust many apps that I follow on github.
It took far longer for literacy and eventual change to happen, than it did to implement the press (under attack from the church) and disseminate bibles. We're only 15 years into bitcoin.
For more recent perspective, the internet was around for 20 years before the first web browser. The Web was around for another 15 years before the first smartphone. We're early. But bitcoin isn't going anywhere.
Fiat is a thing reserved for god, yet here we are.
Anyone catch Moscow Time? Or are we over that meme? 🤣
I'm no fan of meta, zuck, human trafficking, psyops, etc., but it's much better than telcos that were all captured in the 80s and offer no encryption at all 🤷
Personally I use Signal with normies, and matrix for my closer circle. PGP email in a pinch. Sphinx chat over LN was alright. Nostr obviously.
But we're the visionaries. Its gonna take decades for our tools & ideas to catch on en masse. Fortunately bitcoiners are a patient bunch. The real bitcoiners at least.
It's an american thing. Expats all use WhatsApp 🤷♂️
Literally, you don't skip breakfast...you just eat it later 😉
Ethics and logic are totally orthogonal. If you don't stop yourself at step zero, your understanding of abstract geometry and dimensionality is lacking IMO
Switch to android, download amythyst. Two birds, one stone.
It does the basics well enough, but doesn't hit the mark on the actual goals.
Some people love god so much, and are so dependent on his constant presence, that in his direct absence, they defer to filling that role in their lives with humans, like "the State"
Sad lack of intellectual curiosity
It's definitely a power user feature, and it's a bit more complicated depending on what you're installing, it might need more external configuration for it to work beyond the rpc credentials.
But... Power users are a powerful target audience who may be more inclined to contribute back, if they're enabled to use these products more easily.
Design wise, they lack a feature that keeps me from using those products vs doing things myself... The ability to link services to external dependencies. Example, I install a Start9, and go to install a lightning node, but it needs to install Bitcoin core, even though I have 2 core nodes already running on my network, and don't need a 3rd one.
Retiring early shouldn't really be the goal. There's value in work, and it's not really work if you love it, even if ither people want to pay you for it.
But you're right. Having the freedom to choose how you spend your time as you get older is the goal. Saving is the only way to take control of that choice. Anything else carries risk, and that risk is unacceptably high today.
Yo #carnivore gang... Need some advice!
Anyone have a good recommendation for a vacuum sealer, specifically for sealing beef? I have a small one in my kitchen that just doesn't do well most of the time.
