IMO buying a domain and configuring DNS records is easier than setting up a lightning node and managing liquidity.
I'm surprised that nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll and nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct haven't already created a simple solution that integrates with installed services. Cloudflare Tunnels or something similar would be ideal.
My official advice as of this date 22 Dec 2023 is to BOTH run your own node, AND manage at least one domain name and DNS. Know how to keep them separate. But neither is all that difficult to get running.

Oh I agree
LNBits has a few extensions that require a domain (subdomain leases, ln address too I think) and their instructions on the pane at the right side of the app are really good for getting it setup. Simple and to the point.
Besides, when you do it and add a service, adding more domain-enabled services is aasy. Email, file storage, anything umbrel can host (that's appropriate to put onto public dns!)... Can be given a dns name. Nostr verification and other things that use .well-known routes are enabled.
Domains are an excellent tool to have for next gen web protocols as they grow, and they are easier to learn than Microsoft Excel, if we're being honest.
Unless you have your own domain, you'll have to trust someone else to provide an LN address.
I think they're underrated by most companies, but ultimately not that impressive.
Wait, is fountain closed source?

Afaik, yes.
Coins vs. a debit card. But that's a hard one because it's the opposite trust model with sats and eCash. Debit cards are trusted, coins are trustless. But here, LN is trustless, eCash coins are trusted.
It could help invert their thinking though. A lot of the Bitcoin learning journey requires not simply rejecting current dogmas, but fully embracing their complete antitheses.
I do this all the time. I check on my phone, from my wifi, from a VPS I own overseas, and from Tor. Especially for large purchases.
Just local LAN testing. Not surprised. I'll try to setup a cert and proxy later. Thanks!
I literally posted this on the other app today... https://nitter.net/AbstractEqual/status/1731739817333948663?s=19
Nah this is misleading. See the math here...
tl;dr In an extraordinary circumstance for BOTH the deceased & heirs asset allocation at the time of death, the tax rate may be very high, about 85%
Why stop there? If every human is always asleep, there'd be no noise, no traffic, no lines, no waste. That would be perfect, no? 🤣
Humans are not the burden; they're the goal. I agree with the rest
So *that's* why she never shows her hands!
Butter, or coconut oil, or both for me 😉
I wrote some glue code (https://pub.dev/packages/amberflutter) to be able to easily use https://github.com/greenart7c3/Amber from Flutter. I hope someone can try it out and give any input!
Here is a demo of getting my pubkey from Amber, and I also took the opportunity to use nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac design for the profile page to revive my flutter "skills" 🤣

Is Amber like nsecBunker but local to an Android device?
Only knights had full body armor, and they were basically aristocracy in that era. Rare class.
If you've seen World War Z in cinema, you know that breaching a castle wall is trivial for a zombie hoard. Just a matter of time really.
At best, the entire workforce of peasant farmers would be turned, and only the knights and kings would survive, if they can defend against the newly created zombie-peasant army.
Then they'd starve to death, because none of them know how to work a farm 😉
In the end we do all need to play by the rules of physics (energy, time, and information)
Mine. 😎
Then start following profiles, etc. Then look at the users who are popular or who you really like, check their relays, and add those too.
