You should switch to Bitcoin Knots. Bitcoin core got infiltrated by VCs and spammers.

Not directly. Knots is just more honest and better node software that allows you to decide what goes into your mempool. Do you run your node?

Had to uninstall. It takes up so much room on my teeny weeny phone. Updates were not auto installing before I did, despite offloading a bunch of apps, including Fountain. Now, all works relatively well. I just open in the app as needed.
