بسم الله الصلاة على النبي 🌀 Observing Islamic Hypermodernity #PodSystems #NoorNode #staySAIF

fyi, all nips from the SAIF website are whitelisted to #NoorNode Just add it to your outbound/write relays if you want to use it and all your notes will flow into that feed.

From my experience relays that control for spam alleviate most of the need for blocking, but if necessary mute/block lists are best managed on Jumble, NoStrudel (desktop only), or Amethyst (only andriod).

This is so poetic:

I like this pairing a lot myself. So much so I'm probably biased 😅

This is my playlist today 😹#staySAIF nostr:note10rjyghq7x56sxxu4vkgma6tsrke5fkpcn78efsw778tyy0lzumxq0k5lxw

Was just going to ask which client do I need for this 😭 Will jump on Jumble a bit later and try this!

What client do you recommmend to use for onboarding? Personally I've had the most success on Damus.

Nostr onboarding is like getting started at a new job. You got hired but now you need to set up new email, slack, teams, zoom, and whatever other ops software the corpo is using. What a headache. Good onboarding management isn't about simplifying the tools. It is about providing the engagement support needed and just plain being friendly and welcoming.

Woah 🤯 An article noted from Primal. That deserves a zap! But no wallet?

#NoorNode is the best 🎉 nostr:note1qqnvnj4n2trtkays0m29uux3h4uww79svmatjnjcgkmhc84uf4wskz7ek4

Hmmm I doubt it, sounds like Flotilla might be doing something wrong. I'll keep an eye out, on the off chance it is Relay Tools I'll ping nostr:npub10npj3gydmv40m70ehemmal6vsdyfl7tewgvz043g54p0x23y0s8qzztl5h too. If you look at the network tab, you should see your relay url in the event sent to the zapper's callback url. Then, once the zap goes through Flotilla will request zaps from your relay.

Oh! I think I figured the zap routing out now. Testing to confirm. But I don't think sats are lost now 🙂

What we are seeing though is that the goal funding isn't tracking progress and just remains at zero.

Quality over quantity for sure! And recognizing where the source of quality abides is even more important. Legacy socials get their "quality" from quanitfying users leading to the user having low value. Nostr reorients quality to the npub and your community engaments quantify your value.

😂 I bookmarked this note previously. So good! Thanks for sharing the reminder.

This is probably the best place to start:

But I really do think the best discovery and learning happens when you try to run your own relay (it's not that hard at all). Also check out #Jumble which is probably the best relay explorer out there.

There have been scholarly discussions and cautious rulings around AI, but not blanket fatwas declaring it outright haram. The consensus across several studies is more nuanced—AI is generally considered permissible (mubah) unless it’s used in ways that contradict Islamic ethics or cause harm.

Scholars often begin with the principle that new technologies are allowed unless proven harmful or unethical.

If AI is used for beneficial purposes—like education, healthcare, or improving access to religious knowledge—it’s often encouraged. But if it’s used for deception, surveillance, or violating privacy, it may be deemed impermissible.

Some scholars have explored whether AI can issue fatwas. The ruling here is that AI can relay fatwas but not originate them, since it lacks human understanding, spiritual insight, and accountability.

- A study on GPT-3.5 found it could issue family law fatwas with surprising accuracy, but also made errors in sensitive areas like divorce and inheritance. Scholars emphasised the need for oversight and warned against relying solely on AI for religious rulings.

There are concerns about AI’s role in shaping moral decisions, especially when it comes to automation in warfare, surveillance, or biased algorithms.

- Scholars stress the importance of intent, transparency, and human accountability when deploying AI in Islamic contexts.

So while there’s no universal fatwa declaring AI haram, there’s a growing body of scholarship urging caution, ethical design, and clear boundaries.

The key thing is for us to be at the forefront of research and development and pioneer the next wave of technologies and play by our own rules. Not 'theirs'.

Yeah, I couldn't remember any either although there are indeed some sentiments that do give this impression. J actually know some major pro-AI fatwas so that says something there. 😏

Main take away, it is a tool and the permisibility is going to relate not to the tool itself but how the human uses the tool. This makes since at least until we have autonomous AGI. Very likely we could see a shift then toward caution.

Relays are more important than followers on nostr. We need to shift our understanding of this follower count metric along with likes. Very fist how we treat it. Use follow/like for building WoT. Use relays for your feed. nostr:note1sx5dwdvqezusugzrajdh4qqvjlgrep75j20pswej5mqmqzkksq4scqewt0

Oh yeah, he dumps alright 🤣 basically thinks btc is a scam. He's more in the trad camp that favors ETFs. He gets well diserved style points in my book though.

Not going to disagree on the "sabatoge". I think he's trying to avoid conspiratorial jargon and just posit a more common perseption with " mistake" though it could be a bit of both happened and he's only seeing one side. Do you think the current Red majority will successfully return to a more 80s or even 50s era conservatism or are we stuck with this right centrisism and that's the best we'll get? He's got an understanding that there's a libertainian tent (though I felt he's aligning it more within tech) and it seemed like he thinks Reds are going to lean into this more though with his prediction of a civil war I'm not sure if he thinks they will be successful or if he see exit as the better strategy. The whole timeline for mass btc addiption is hard to place into any model, like we know it's coming but the "suddenly" moment will probably still catch us all still. CCP and BRICS in general still see btc as just a tool and I do think they are more afraid of it due to the lack of control elements (also why Blues prefer ETH). The race for AI dominance is main stage atm and I wonder if there's a chance a non-party tech wing can best possition itself midst the struggle or even possibly dominate.

I think what we are going to see soon is a major change in teaching where school assignments become more task or project oriented that allow them use AI in a way that allays fears over cheating and can still be used to quantify student development.

If you're muslim and been on nostr a while you should probably join nostr:npub1h8lhed2da096g2wcsh2crmyvenune046rqkejc8f8pcaag8qj25qqadp5p

BRICS isn't a military aliance though and strategically the only value TR provides NATO is to aid them in destablizing Russia and countering pan-arabism.

😅 you had me worried there was another wave of spam hitting
