I've started a tradition of baking a big twist dessert bread for Christmas at my dad's. I struggled this year on time trying to see everyone and stops along the route to the final destination, but we ended up eating it for breakfast today.

This piece was my first collaboration with another potter. An earthenware vase stretching to 14" tall. I applied slip texture and finish the painting with terra sigillata.
Run through a kiln and pulled out to finish with horsehair, sugar, and paper.

GM Nostr! Ever since my birthday 10 days ago, the world is not smooth sailing for everyone around me.
Started first with my husband gashing open his toe at 6 am trying to be quiet.
The next day, my Dad gashed his scalp open 6" on a crane boom and had to have STAPLES. 😵💫 The same day, my grandparents almost get decapitated on the interstate. The next day my husbands back goes out. The next day stepsister has to be hospitalized. I know getting redundant now. The next day my godmother gets extremely ill and down for the count. A few days later my mom gets a bad result on biopsies.
For the love of all God, take care of yourselves people.

Settling affairs for your mom is so hard after an accident. I'm making her an urn so she will be in the most valuable vessel to our family.
I've finally got some grasp of God's Will and I am evermore in appreciation for life.
Having a cold one looking at silver linings. I have a lot of therapy to pay for so I'd appreciate it if you would support my business. Sort of light humor here, but damn I'm an artist.
