A prior version of my prep kit (when I was in the city center) had lockpicks, but more importantly a pry-bar and bolt cutters

Also good is a silcock key

When you go off carbs, your body will likely dump water, leading to the infamous carnivore diarrhea for 1-2 weeks

Supposedly salt (or other electrolytes) can help

Longer term, the main variable to play with is fat vs lean percentage

Assuming you're not trying to lose body fat you'll probably want something like 80% fat calories (which you can get from 70/30 ground beef, Ribeyes, or other fatty meat)

Be careful with dairy, it's addictive

Another thing to watch out for is processed meat (eg sausage, jerky, even some bacon), which often has added sugar, added chemicals and can be "fully cooked" which denatures some of the Vitamin C

How do you determine what is and is not legitimate scripture?

Perhaps soon, unfortunately.

It feels to me like the current environment in the US cannot last, and must break one way or the other.

My suspicion is we will have a hyperinflationary collapse.

Many such cases... when it was time for smallpox to end it got split into a bunch of different diseases (including chickenpox)

Currently my go-to is bone marrow but I keep butter on hand also.

I've been eating Roqeufort also which is an unpasteurized sheep's cheese. I find that this cheese is satisfying in small amounts and I don't naturally want to eat an enormous block like I might do with a nice Gouda.

I like raw egg yolk, which is my main breakfast now.

I have a weakness for cream but I haven't quite shed all the flab and cream seems to stop that for me.

Plain yogurt has worked well for me but I haven't been eating it lately.

Plain cream cheese is another option which I've enjoyed in the past.

I'm avoiding (or at least limiting) pork due to how it's raised in the USA, so bacon is out, but I've enjoyed beef bacon. Unfortunately I don't like the additives used on the specific brands available in my area.

How do you know that Christ said that?

How do you know that Christ had the capacity to truthfully make such a claim (ie by virtue of divinity) ?

Presumably scripture, but then how do you know what is and is not scripture?

What is at the bottom of it, if not reason?

The Catholics like to talk about being guided by tradition and the magisterium rather than scripture alone, but ultimately how do you decide which tradition to follow? How do you decide what is legitimate magisterium and what is not?

For that matter, how do you decide what is legitimate scripture and what is not?

If it comes down to reason, then there is nothing bold about my move.

I personally have not regarded Paul as a Christian for a long time (and don't regard his letters as being comparable to scripture)

I also don't believe in ghosts or spirits in general, though, so probably my opinion is of little interest

Fiat bottom girls make this rocking world go round

I agree there's a lot of good nutrients in processed meat

However I wouldn't recommend eating hot dogs without reading the ingredients

I think there are 3 concerns

1) Chemical additives

2) Added sugar (which are sadly quite prevalent in meat)

3) Vitamin C (which is potentially denatured in pre-cooked meats and competes with added sugars for utilization in the body)

Most omnivore species specialize heavy in some specific food source, but can handle limited amounts of other

eg deer scavenge carrion, lions have been seen eating grass
