Don't be so naive, please. ALL Governments are OWNED by a small network of financial institutions and families who are above nations and beyond borders. They control BOTH SIDES, literally EVERYTHING. From raise to collapse of any governmental structure.

Where are we supposed to go? The entire planet is US military industrial complex territory. We fucking destroyed China. The only developed place with no income taxes seems to be North Korea and we have kids starving there.

All leaving the US does is gives the military industrial complex more of an excuse to label you an enemy and ignore your rights and kill you in a drone strike

Strongly disagree. Will only cause unprojectected rage leading to stress and rising cortisol levels on something you are not even realistically capable of fixing.

This is similar to the thoughts and prayers people receive when their home and half their family is dead or injured.

Either you actually do something or it is just going to make you unhealthy in the process whilst not helping anybody else.

More people should now have learned that allowing streams of illegals into your country destroys your country, resulting in actions like having to deport people back to where they came from. In the end wasting a lot of money, time and good spirit.

Each side loves it, until the opposition takes over again, and they get to find out that payback is a bitch. And then it reverts again. It's always the same.

SMB requires a user and (in most cases) pw. Maybe that is the problem.

You need to set this up on server side.

Finder, Go, Connect to Seever, it sees the folders on server, message “There was a problem connecting to the server ‘ip_address’”.

I found some other resources to potentially troubleshoot the matter.

If this is happening when you are booting, then it is likely that the boot files/partition is broken.

If you can boot from a live CD/USB, then you should look into doing that, mount your partition(s) and see if you can repair anything that is broken.

If you haven't done anything like this before, it isn't the easiest thing but maybe you can find tutorials out there.

I have had to do this a few times for Arch Linux, but the process will likely be very different for another Linux distribution.

If you can't do all that, then work on getting the files you care about off the drive while being booted into the live CD/USB.

can you switch to a TTY terminal to inspect logs?

Pop!_OS, as I understand it, is based on Ubuntu, which itself is derived from Debian.

How running Debian be different? I run Pop!_OS on two machines so I'm willing to test a new setup if there is something inherently better about it.

Issue getting SMB (Mac) to connect to nas (local) via vlan.

Upon connecting it sees the folders on NAS to connect but it throughs an error.

Checked firewall rules.

Any suggestions or ideas?
