And yet your only counterargument seems to consist of 1) the absurd claim that the late nation state is now forever a stable complex adaptive system š and 2) a word salad of concepts that you yourself seem to know little about and you donāt care to elaborate on what relevance they have to the discussion.
Iām not saying itās obvious that this will happen in the near future. But what is obvious is that there a new local energy minimum on the horizon which is capable of unleashing tremendous latent energy once we move in that direction.
Just like the reformation unleashed the latent energy of giving spirituality and agency back into peopleās hands. The reformation was not an arbitrary event of chance, it eventually happened because of its more optimal state.
Separation of church and state, once it is available, is a more optimal state just like separation of money and state is more optimal. The separation of money and state can now, for the first time, be delivered in a stable form.
Complex adaptive systems donāt always and forever thrive under contradictions.
A cancer will eventually kill an organism. The same has happened to larger complex adaptive systems over and over again in human history.
Monarchy, or the Catholic church being just two of many good examples. To think that the nation state in its current form is the end state and final equilibrium is just naive.
You donāt have to be an anarcho-capitalist to understand that the next evolution of human organization will look vastly different from the current equilibrium.
And it is also obvious that the separation of money and the state may just play a large part in this evolution.
Iām sure back in 1789 France a lot of people held the view that the vast majority of people wanted the monarchy.
If you think that the nation state is the end state of human organization, I donāt think youāre thinking far enough outside the box.
Tether seems to have become a vehicle to convert worthless dollars into Bitcoin. Quite extraordinary.
I donāt doubt that there is shady stuff happening under the hood here, but worth letting this sink in.
Not answering your question but the Financial Times wrote a nice little piece on the perennial rivalry between Messi and Ronaldo. One thing I didnāt know is that Messi actually has outscored Ronaldo if you subtract penalties despite his younger age.

Since Yoga stems from India, āHot Yogaā should just be āYogaā and any other Yoga should be called āCold Yogaā.
Thought Experiment:
What if it comes out tomorrow that Nayib Bukiele has been continuously depositing state owned BTC on his wallet and has fled the country. Whatās the chance that heās doing it and weāll never find out?
Iām not saying this is likely but have you ever seem an audit or anything? Heās openly admitted to buying state held Bitcoin on Robinhood which seems odd.
A lot of Bitcoiners probably didnāt love SBF for his shitcoinery but still tolerated because he was deemed net positive for Bitcoin. Very few probably expected anything like what did unravel to unravel?
If the Bukiele story came true what would it mean for Bitcoin? Nothing, tick tock, next block.
But because we have so naively celebrated a guy who turned out to be a crook it would have vast negative effects on Bitcoinersā credibility and our cause.
Again, I donāt think any of this is likely but we should be more careful with blind praise for someone about whom we actually know very little, just because he appears to be pro BTC.
Iāve started doing this thing, where whenever I purchase something and am ready to pay for it, I just casually ask: āYou accept #Bitcoin right!?ā as if its the most normal question in the world.
They usually look at me and then say ānoā with a confused smile. I pretend like Iām surprised and proceed to pay by card.
Not only is it fun but I like to believe itās having a small impact on normalizing Bitcoin adoption.
Is there a recording? :)

Agree. Some people are still in the Fiat mindset of spamming instead of carefully curating content that is truly worth othersā attention.

Powerful.
The principle of honesty and uprightness is dangerously undervalued in the Fiat world because people donāt look at the internal and holistic consequences of their actions. nostr:note1krhuaumr7fah7frqnwgtu4jxjrkguj40a3ahvchjwxytkmt29pfq66jmtf
