I will respectfully disagree with parts of it. Please, consider this: It's because Europe was already rich in the first place, that it was able to colonise Africa.
Colonial endeavours were megalomaniac and audacious projects of rich countries that made no economic sense (like all government programs!). This is why the "pragmatic Germans", unlike the British and the French, were never enthusiastic about it.
I think basic things like freedom, respect of property rights etc, that were never a reality in Africa, can better explain the wealth gap between the continents, and this is why bitcoin is so important, because it will bring freedom, property rights etc, and therefore, true and long-lasting development.
When looking at the atrocities committed by colonial powers, it's important to add some context. Africa was almost never a peaceful continent. It was true before, during colonial times, and also today.

Thank you for clarifying this, Neon.
(I'm well aware, it's just another "malthusian scare" ๐ )
Agreed nostr can't compete, and for a good reason: it was designed to maximise freedom, not zap payouts, the complete opposite of Twitter.
It's the advertisers, not Twitter, that are paying the influencers. Indirectly, they will also dictate what these influencers are allowed to talk about. ("he who pays the piper..."). Basically, everyone with reach power on twitter is now captured.
Elon, the free speech advocate, has set up an incentive structure that will destroy free speech on twitter!

Lawrence Berkley National Lab in USA, successfully simulates LK-99 atomic structure and illustrates RTSC properties.
Shenyang National Lab in China, successfully replicates LK-99, proposes gold doped apatite as having superior RTSC properties in theory.
Huazhong University of Science and Technologies (second Chinese lab) successfully replicates LK-99 physically. See belowโฆ https://nostr.build/av/7d0e5dcfe246b22eced4c73a4d829dd267b331c7ae349eafb40ee1a3f41be9e9.mov
I don't fully understand what's going on here, so I'll ask: are there any implications for the climate/environment crisis? Have we found a potential solution with this stuff?
I hope he'll learn from the mistakes of his predecessor, Thomas Sankara, and not go full commie on his people. He should give freedom a chance, but I won't hold my breath...๐
What Nostr clients allow you to see lists created on listr.lol #asknostr. Right now I'm using Amethyst and it works great can see my list. Highlighter as well.
This is my understanding as well.
Can we reverse that too? The latter as a prerequisite for the former... ๐ค
More exciting news from Germany's Ministry of Deindustrialization. https://www.politico.eu/article/germany-economy-minister-robert-habeck-recession-energy-subsidies/
Straight out of the sophist's playbook: ๐
> "The question is: Do we borrow money or do we no longer have industry?" Habeck said.
Same for underwear...
Ok thanks, I'll check them out.
