If memory serves me right, the French justice issued a warrant against him, for corruption, money laundry, and for distracting public funds. They have seized his luxury cars and apartments in France, all financed with the country's resources (mostly oil) and foreign aid.
(Foreign 'aid', a government program that forcefully transfers money from poor people in rich countries to rich people in poor countries, has massively failed the continent. Eq. Guinea is not an isolated case.)

I think the boost feature should be nipped. What about for example introducing an optional boost tag?
That way, users won't have to manually type "$boost" anymore, but instead, configure their clients to automatically add the boost tag to their notes, which will trigger the zap-split on the note when reposted.
Additionally, the boost tag can be utilised to hold information about the split percentages.

Mass immigration is just another government program, and everything the state touches it turns it into a cancer in no time. (money, education, health etc)
What is happening today is not healthy anymore, it is about depleting poor countries of their most valuable resources, their young productive people, thus making those already poor countries even more dependent. It is another excuse for printing more money (8M£ daily in the UK!). It is a heavy and unsustainable burdens on the infrastructures of the welcoming country.
Yes to immigration, no to government controlled mass immigration.
We'll get there, eventually.
Adding tokens, and blockchains unnecessarily make things so much more complex. It's also like fiat on steroid.
The simplicity of protocols like nostr should prompt people to pause and reflect.
