Zeitgeist
This is such a tragic and infuriating story…
https://youtu.be/zZRJXr6Od4Y?si=IdiVDpK6ADtvwrpP to be honest this documentary was when everything clicked that i was a slave because of what they explain about gold and how banks were created because they realized ppl wanted the paper and not the actual gold
Zeitgeist the movie by Peter Joseph… all three are excellent
It spurred the Occupy Movement… amazing documentary…
He made the whole movie himself… even wrote all the music… an incredibly intelligent and talented guy… such a shame he’s a huge socialist (or was back then)
👀
The Matrix
Zeitgeist and Zeitgeist Addendum. Too bad Peter Joseph the creator hates bitcoin. Ironic that his movies led me to find bitcoin.
TPB AFK
Koyaanisqatsi
It changed me deeply. Hard to say why
Crime of the Century (HBO) (Opiates but relates to many medical things as they use the exact same playbook).
Dark Waters is another good movie about a real story.
Birth as We Know It https://www.birthintobeing.com/film
So thankful I saw this before my first baby 16 years ago. Just had baby#4 last month after an 8 year break😁. Stunningly beautiful is an accurate description.
Century of the Self (BBC, 4 hours)
It shows how Sigmund Freud's nephew created Public Relations and the commercialistic society we live in today. This effected everything from politics to corn flakes, even inventing santa claus & all kinds of odd marketing tricks.
The Opium Wars. How Britain treated China was pretty shabby and aggressive. I wonder why they don't trust us? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62BABCgJSO8
The Ascent of Money by Niall Ferguson.
Originally a TV documentary based in his book, but called The Ascent of Money: Boom and Bust. Shown at the end of 2008 on Channel 4 in the UK.
Great timing, just before the now infamous newspaper headline.

Ancient Apocalypse 🤙🏽💯

The Social Dilemma. They should be on NOSTR, but I can't find Tristan Harris or anybody else from the film here, and they won't respond to my email.
Not exactly the answer you’re looking but this has changed my current mind-frame quite a bit (you have to watch to the end):
Then check-out the most recent “The Why Files?” episode about how the Deep State may be so very far more advance that anyone can imagine, including other countries.
Documentary: who killed the electric car
My Octopus Teacher is a beautiful reminder of connection between all things if the time to slow down is taken
love that one… so much pulpo regret…
Europa - The Last Battle. Can be found on Internet Archives. Even if I don’t buy into the docu-series nationalist “white pride” perspective, it did however make me think very differently about WW2 and USSR. Was like seeing the other side of the coin of that war and I always want to see both sides of things to get closer to the truth. So watch skeptically, like always. 😅 For instance, I did not know so much about the Holodomor, how bad the Red Army was and so on.
The one that nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m posted: Everything is a rich man‘s trick. Holy fuck.
