It’s for use in Portugal

Activated charcoal followed by ion exchange resin. This way you'll remove fluoride and heavy metals, and organic substances like unfiltered pharmaceuticalls
I use brita filter with the jug because the water direct out the tap isn’t very nice. It’s expensive to have to replace the filters though. One last a month or so. You can generic replacements but not looked into it
A filter that fit to the drinking water supply can be very good and lot more convenient than constantly filling a jug with water.
Been down this road. To be concise, these improve taste only.
If you want proper filtration go reverse osmosis.
YES!!!
Check the cartridges forward cost and compatibility. Likely they make the bulk of their money on the new filters, so you want to factor that in as an ongoing cost.
I suggest to check out this most amazing water-filter, which I'm using since a few months and I am super satisfied and grateful for having found it ✌🏽… If you wold like more infos, feel free to contact nostr:npub1c6dhrhzkflwr2zkdmlujnujawgp2c9rsep6gscyt6mvcusnt5a3srnzmx3 https://shop.misterwater.eu/?sPartner=Essencial
Yes, there is a very much a need. Maybe.
You have to get your water tested.
I use these with a Brita jug https://amzn.eu/d/5XdPAIn
These do a good job mate

I went down that rabbit hole many years ago. If you really want to purify your water (not only form minerals), also from all the pesticides, PFAS, hormones etc... it's an investment...but a really good one...as good water is so important for your health. Of course you could in the meanwhile distill water or boil it twice like the Ayurvedic do...but you want't be able to get out all the poison and also you want to re-inform and re-vitalize your water.
I highly recommend the one from misterwater https://shop.misterwater.eu/?sPartner=Essencial
I know it's all in German. So please feel free to get in touch if you'd like more information. I'm more than happy to assist 🤗
Hey man I'm from Germany and curious about your take on German tab water. Do you consider it's quality to be too low to drink it directly?
Do you have any resources on this? Thanks!
Hi there, absolutely too low drinking quality. Most water pipes are very old and their material deteriorates and is found in the drinking water. All the chemicals, hormones, PFAS, etc. can too not be completely filtered out of the water by the sewage treatment plants. Because there are more and more chemicals and toxins in the environment and there is not an “antidote” or degradant for every single substance. Such as PFAS, hormones glyphosat etc. Unfortunately, bottled water isn't any better because there is even less control.
There are many channels that report on this. Also watch the movie “Dark Waters” and also check out the website of misterwater, there is plenty of information.
Also it's not beneficial if drinking water with lots of minerals in it, as these minerals are not ionized and obstruct the metabolism as these molecules are to big to go through cells.
Good luck when going down this rabbit hole 😅 I could go on and on and on 😅
I always have my own bottle with me...It can really affect your whole life...but also your health in a positive way.
Thanks for the info! Now that you gave me a first introduction to the topic I'm a bit afraid to plunge into this rabbit hole cause I'll probably never be able to drink tab water again with a good feeling :S
I know... Same goes for FIAT... Plandemic...WHO... Diving deep into the topics without fear of the truth that might come up to the surface... It completely can change your life...But what does it help to keep the eyes closed from hidden truths?
What water bottle / water company would you reoffend for Portugal? As an easy option / do you always drink Evian, for example?
Best bottle water is Lauretana (from North Italy) and I've also heard of "Blackforest" bottle water should be also one of the safest one. Good luck finding the best solution. In the meanwhile you can boil tab water twice 10 minutes and pour away the water grounds. I don't recommend Evian... it's full of inorgnic minerals. If you buy water, I highly recommend buying water in glass bottles. As PET releases toxins such as pesticides, PFAS etc. into the water.✌🏻🍀
Reverse osmosis all the way.
Have you asked to an AI?
Any filtr with pure carbon cartridge filter is enough to strat with - for filtering tap water. I would recommend Berkey Filter. Simple use. One of the best filters out there.
Trying to just remove taste or filter anything specific?
Short term, long term?
Not worth the effort. If you really want good water then glass bottle mineral is the only option.
Carbon or sand filter, only.
Most others damage the water in some way, either by removing vital minerals, altering its structure, or in the case of the fancy machines, contaminating it with metals like titanium.
Also note that while some waters may be more pure, ie closer to 100% H2O, if they lack the correct balance of minerals, they will not hydrate you correctly, and should be avoided.
Most of the benefits of carbon filters are to remove chlorine.
Other chemicals and metals may be removed, to a varying degree.

Zero water filter I have found is best balance of relatively cheap but provably filters all minerals/sediments including lead and fluoride
Highly recommend you get a reverse osmosis filter like Aquatru.
Tap water is full of fluoride, endocrine disruptors, prescription drugs, glyphosate, birth control hormones, and other toxic chemicals. It’s arguably the worst anyone can drink.
You can read more about fluoride here: https://truthaboutfluoride.com/
Although I think fluoride is banned to some extent in Europe. If I’m not mistaken I think it’s not added to tap water there.
A great one and easiest to install is Hydroviv. Try it in the US, if you can. I would get a couple of extra filters to switch after a few months, if I were to go abroad. https://www.hydroviv.com/
don't get one of those jugs with a filter. the replacement filters themselves are very expensive. get one with active coal filters directly connected to the tab.
