I've been (mostly) carnivore for over 6 months now.

Same, feels good, finally started exercising as well. Still very basic but it's a start.

I walk and eat beef, eggs, butter, and salt.

I'm going to have watermelon this weekend, though.

Occasional sin is fine 😄

Yeah, same food for me, but stupid sugary coffee is still keeping my belly in existence. Each day I'm putting in slightly less sugar though.

I'm so glad I've never gotten addicted to coffee.

I drink herbal tea more than most, but I avoid caffeine most days.

nice to c/all of U!

I switched to putting stevia in my coffee.

Planning to quit coffee altogether anyway :) Don't want to make its consumption better for me haha.

Why do you want to stop drinking coffee?

I've tested it out before and I actually feel a lot better in periods where I'm not drinking any coffee.

I have a past with alcohol and other heavy substances, and I kind of miss having a dependency on something. It sounds pathetic but I've been using coffee just to feel like I'm still doing a drug hahaha. Even though caffeine actually impacts me very negatively.

I can't consider that pathetic. That's rough, but, good for you for moving towards less dependency and less harmful things for yourself.

Carnivore(ish)

Yup.

Are you skinny af now?

Nope. I'm never going to be skinny unless I'm literally starving to death.

I started at over 325lbs (~148kg). That's when I got a scale and could start tracking. This morning I weighed in at 270.1lbs (~123kg).

My goal weight is under 225lbs (~102kgs).

I did the math this morning, and if I can continue down to 202lbs (~92kgs), I'll be under 10% bodyfat at that point. Yes, I'm wide for my height. I am actually big boned. 😂

Congratulations sir!!!

Keep up the great work!!!

Thank you!

I am.

You’re welcome

That’s amazing losing 55 pounds in 6 months is insane! Nutrition is so much more important than people realize.

It's a little less than 2.5lbs a week. That's not really all that crazy, but...

The crazy part is that when I stick to it, it's just completely steady and predictable.

It's the easiest way I've ever lost weight. It kinda does feel like a cheat code.

Are you also exercising?

I walk. I was doing bodyweight stuff for a while and really should get back to that.

If it’s working for you then you don’t have to change anything. Is there a specific time that you walk and how long?

I usually walk for 2.8 miles after dinner.

That’s a lot haha how long does that walk take you?

Between 41.5 and 43 minutes.

Well done!

Thank you!

Just dont let it become your religion. Nothing wrong with healthy carbs

Nope. This is only a means to an end, not my whole life.

I got a little too dogmatic on carb restrictiona year or so ago and it messed my digestion up big time.

And whatever the goal is, best of luck. 🤘🍻

My goal is to be healthier.

Beave's rules for health:

1. Don't be fat.

2. Don't eat things that aren't actually food.

3. Sweat (nearly) every day.

4. Read.

5. Give.

Good plan🎉

I think so.

As food goes, what I do is as much as possible is get shit that dont require an ingredient list. Can never go wrong with whole real food. I pretty much eat nothing but ground beef, eggs, raw milk, apples and bananas. That's my base at least. I'll have snack here and there, but I dont keep things like that in the house so I have to decide if its really worth leaving the house for.

That's what I'm going to move towards once I hit my goal weight!

About 2 or three months, 1 meal a day. Start morning with bulletproof (mct oil + grassfed butter, I do coconut oil w/ ghee) staves off almost hunger /too/ well. Get in the zone working and i might have an accidental fast for the day 😳

Too many congrats to realistically say to you! 🫡

I don't drink coffee, but I have experimented with buffet in my tea.

I'm currently eating OMAD. I couldn't do it well before carnivore.
