- will put any demographic group on the chopping block to achieve their objectives

I'm in Alberta, probably the most conservative area in the country. I've got friends who are part of the pride association, friends who are oil riggers, and a friend who owns a ranch. I support Elon's mission to shrink the gov, its been something guys like me have talked about forever. It is so massive and bloated it has to get cut wayy back to rein things in to a sustainable and manageable level. Indeed. Bill Clinton and Al Gore had a congressionally-approved department to do just this in the '90s. They didn't do it haphazardly though and then find they had to immediately rehire air-traffic controllers, nuclear facility managers, and others right back however.
Supporting a goal and supporting someone's particular method of achieving it are two very different things. Musk likes to just state the problem when asked to justify what he's doing. That may trick the sympathetic followers, but it's not an answer to the question. Stating the problem doesn't justify someone's solution.

No. There are a lot of ignorant people out there who think they're being cute. They're not Nazis. I don't call people Nazis unless they're specifically part of a Nazi group, or declare themselves to be a Nazi, or aligned with Nazi ideology. That's why I don't call Musk a Nazi, but a sympathizer. He has a long history of supportive remarks and actions, but he has no affiliation with Nazi groups. But his actions matter, moreso than the actions of a private citizen. And he ignores that fact and takes no responsibility for the effect and implications of his actions.
