Impressive

Innumeracy and lack of proportional reasoning causing a complacent society. 🫠

How is it a depression? It's nothing more than a recession that could turn into a depression if we're not careful.

That's how I look at it.

If you are looking at purchasing power and the real effects of debasement, it’s horribly worse and easily a depression.

Despite whatever nominal fiat metrics say

yep, make the implicit explicit

Too many live lives of quiet desperation

Jack is locked tf in. You love to see it.

Yes I try to explain this to everyone. Dow, s&p, Nasdaq are all down 60/70% from 2000 ATHs.

Everything is going to zero against bitcoin. Every time bitcoin does a 10x everything else loses 90% against Bitcoin. From 2020 to 2025 the, fiat, the stock market, RE, gold etc lost around 80/90% against Bitcoin.

And this is going to keep happening .

This is why the “everything bubble” is so retarded. There’s no everything bubble, the bubble is in the denominator!!! Is the dollar being inflated. That why Bitcoin has to be our measure of account.

I called that out easily, actually. It's not even a depression, just a fiat recession that *could* go back up.

It might not, though.

Whats the difference between depresión and “fiat recession” according to you?

Essentially, a depression is a stock market crash that doesn't really lead to any positive results. Depressions are essentially long-term recessions that last for a long time (think the Great Depression).

Recessions are essentially market corrections that have a positive result after a small amount of time.

Thanks for the clear explanation, Jack.

I think Depression 2.0 will be of the ‘gradually then suddenly’ type and the deep state lizards will squeeze Nocoiners until it their mental conditioning is overcome.

Shoutout to the editor too 🔥💪

This was really fucking powerful.

Incredible🍯🦡 the world will change drastically when Bitcoin becomes the standard🚀

Thank you Jack

I’m not saying “thus says the Lord” or anything -just sharing what immediately popped in my head when I heard that. I thought it was interesting.

Epic!

Awesome 🧡

Mind blown 🤯! I knew there was something about bitcoin that attracted me. Couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Now I can. It’s the reference point of money/value.

This is exactly it, great post. There's only one economy truly "working" for the average pleb since 2001. The economy of hard assets. Real estate, gold, Bitcoin, etc.

All the rest only works for elites, State connected individuals or lucky individuals.

The economy has to work for the masses, otherwise it's not a free market, it's just feudalism. Which as we all know could be a great way to define what's going on in the world. State feudalism, where State connected individuals unproportionally benefit from large amounts of fiat money printing.

Thanks Jack. Strike on point, Much respect and well articulated as usual. 🙏🤙🇦🇺🦘

Stacking more sats. ⚡️

Seeing the stock market in Gold terms reminds me of my own deeper look at global GDP trends since 1960.

Freezing the dollar supply at 1960 levels, and simple observing how GDP has changed over time relative to the dollar supply as a whole, reveals we've been living in a depression since the dot-com bubble burst.

GDP per capita has fallen over 60% since then, while it's 65% down since it's peak in 1980.
