We got lucky when we got on here early and picked up the nostr OG's as followers.
Once in a will dip into global and see if I can find something worthwhile though.
I’ve started unfollowing folks who seem to post only Facebook style ‘hey check my food’ and sorta thirsty ‘zap me’ stuff all day
I typically would unfollow “foodies” but seeing as this is a new social protocol i try to welcome those posts so it feels more diverse and interesting. Global seems full of crypto buzzwords, we need to funnel people into topics of interest as soon as possible.

Damus shows replies as hidden from a person you blocked. You have to click it to view the reply.
Which is good design. So far I have so few people blocked I didn’t even notice.

- poor English - something a scammer would sound like
- hot Asian woman (sadly) why can’t they not be bots?! 😂
- trying too hard - complements that seem out of place and odd - especially to a cat pfp
There do seem to be a lot of broken records on here lately, may be people repeating posts similar to those that have gotten zaps in the past.
Hopefully this dissipates naturally.
OK well other than being a cat lady and saying I was a Nostr “enthusiast” I don’t tick the other boxes. Except when I type too fast and can’t edit a post. So I guess bad grammar too. Damn it.
Funny thread… basically everybody complains about no real women, but if real women come around, they are blocked as bots.
Only if they seem like a bot. Being in bitcoin for a while tends to draw in all sorts of interesting identities. Over time they set off red flags pretty quickly. But of course not always accurate so there will be some friendly fire sadly.
I’ll take those odds. Some days I’m not sure if any of this is real.
