Day 1 of ensuring I drink 100 oz (3L) of water per day. I finished the day's allotment before it was even dinner time, no problem.

One positive side effect: I felt full all day, so no desire for snacks. I suspect I may get a free caloric intake reduction at this rate.

I used to drink double of this, it depends on your day, your metabolism and other things, there are not math involved on a diet. take care friend.

πŸ€™ drinking lots of water also speeds up your metabolism.

Are you replenishing salts and minerals?

I just set a goal for 75 oz for myself this week!

I have an hourly reminder. 8oz per reminder. 15hr day on average. 120oz without much mental space taken. Definitely reduces urge to eat.

Drink water when you are thirsty πŸ€™

a friend get sick with this idea, never was thirsty.

Never thirsty πŸ˜“, I drink between 1 and 3 liters depending on the day.

Generally good advice.

I often wonder how healthy drinking that much water really is? I know it's supposed to be healthy but can't imagine a single time in human history when our ancestors would ever be in a position to do that or even want to drink that much. Must be rough on the kidneys no?

Intermittent fasting forever. Most bang for the buck.

Hard dry fasting is the most bang for the buck :) Did 4 days. Don’t try this at home.

How long do you go?

Did you see my reply to you on Twitter?

Steak (protein} has the same effect

Careful on your kidneys and liver. They have to process all that. I used to think more was better when it came to water intake until my acupucturist set me straight.

Awesome decision! Your body and brain will thank you. Observing how your muscles and joints feel specially over the months/years while keeping this up. πŸ€™

What makes 3L ideal?

Great book the benefits of water

Be aware of the potential for hyponatremia, few people are aware of the fact that excessive water consumption with insufficient salt intake can cause death.
