How’s the wife consensus on this one?
She is generally on board. She has always trusted in buying the dip. Although we have another kid in the way and pausing construction could be a huge pain due to a short span available to work around things.
Congrats on the new human! I’ve got another one brewing right now as well. I would pause. Take the fam on a nice vacay with the proceeds in 5 years and make some memories dealing with less square footage in the meantime. If you need perspective just think about how our ancestors lived check to jowl with their animals in straw huts, no heat plumbing or nostr

It could be a possibility to rent something for 1-2 years and buy later, in a bear market, at a 1/4 price. Of course, if you and your family agree.

Yeah that’s always the problem. Can you actually wait the time it takes? Or are you getting yourself stuck because it could always just go the path of “more pain than you expected” and punish you even worse when you have even fewer options.

There’s no right or wrong answer, of course. It’s just a matter of your macro perspective.
There are some dark clouds on the macro horizon and I think Bitcoin’s prospects over the medium term depend on whether institutions have placed Bitcoin in their “risk-on” bucket or their “flight to quality” bucket. If you believe the former, you’re better off not adding. If the latter, you’re better off grabbing all you can.

Given the "our" in that sentence, probably fairly foolish. But then, my wife was never fond of camping, particularly for months on end, over winter. Some people like creature comforts.

Materials and many other factors will effect your decision,but it may be a different world we are living in come the near future. Get your house in order ASAP brother, literally.
