I've heard a guy recently, he sounded as he knew what he was talking about. he said that Bitcoin was intentionally designed to be 100% transparent, so that the guys like this one above and the rest would accept it. This is the most convincing explanation I've heard so far about it. So from that point of view I would say, if that's true, that was a smart decision. However, at some point this will come back as an issue for sure.

The real problem folks run into is the repatriation of mixed sats into the fiat system.
They can only trace bitcoin movement from one address to another.
Proving ownership is actually super difficult unless you disclose your addresses through KYC.
So if you needed to have a private TX there isn't anything anyone can do to stop you from obtaining Bitcoin not attached to your identity.

Amounts and addresses are completely hidden on Monero. Bitcoin is a public blockchain. The transaction graph is completely open for anyone to see. Nothing is hidden. Obfuscation is a weaker form of privacy that can be undone by surveillors with more data or user mistakes. And it happens often enough.
I wouldn't go as far as to say WEF/GreatReset wet dream, as #Bitcoin cannot be prevented from being spent within the #Bitcoin economy. When countries blacklist #Bitcoin, they only prevent it from being spent within their local fiat economy. This actually has the effect of sending the #Bitcoin to freeer markets.

They were both and probably not sustainable. After world war 1, Germany was suppressed and constantly drained of money/goods by the winners of the war. People were starving. The communists who slaughtered millions of people in Russia and Ukraine were quickly gaining momentum. Many Germans were not forced into collectivism by the government but joined to fight their way out of the situation successfully. Hierarchies were accepted and success mattered in this goal oriented collective society. When you look at communist societies, people are depressed. Perceived effort matters. Success is often punished by peers. Hierarchies exist unofficially while the citizens have to say that everything is flat. Peoples lives get worse and worse over time. The more typical real world left stuff.
I think the best way to deal with him and similar authoritarians is simply to ignore him, not to give him any reactions to his pure provocations. I don't care what he thinks about anything really.

I work for the government in a highly regarded European institution.
Because I'm the kind of guy who speaks out about what I think is wrong, they went against the law by monitoring the video camera system of the offices, trying to use it against me.
I won because I have nothing to hide, but I realized that these people can use this knowledge to hurt those they fear, perhaps someone who could jeopardize their leadership.
At this point, I realized that no human should have this kind of power. It's merely a way to entrench one's position of power, and it becomes truly dangerous.
There is no highly regarded European Institution.
